CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE FORM

Welease Bwian

Welease Bwian (IRE) is a 7yo from the Stuart Williams stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Brighton (Gb) on the 01/07/2014 and this could very well be a factor here.

So lets see what now, Well in the last year Stuart Williams has achieved a 21% when entering a 7yo into races, this is classed as an excellent and backs up the runners form.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

Baileys Mirage

Baileys Mirage (FR) is a 5yo from the Chris Dwyer stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Intermediate form over the last twelve months is how things appear to be for Baileys Mirage (FR) who is a 5yo out of the sire by the name Desert Style (IRE), or this is how things look when taking par in Handicap races. Did put in a tolerable run at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb) on the 28/04/2016 when ridden by Silvestre De Sousa but the word average does spring to mind.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Gambit

Gambit (GB) is a 3yo from the Tom Dascombe stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

The one thing that the form book does show for Gambit (GB) is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

The overall form for Gambit (GB) looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Francisco

Francisco (GB) is a 4yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Francisco (GB) ran at Goodwood (Gb), finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Under Siege

Under Siege (IRE) is from the Stuart Williams and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Chelmsford (A.W)

It can sometimes pay dividends to look a bit further back through the form book and in this case we can see that in last year it has performed well on a unknown course, this was at Great Leighs (A.W) ( on the 10/10/2015 when Sophie Killoran rode this Gelding to get the 1st prize and is to be considered agreeable display of ability.

So we have a runner who is a 4yo and by looking at today’s jockey results over the last twelve months we see a splendid strike rate of 20% when runners of this age.

With splendid form this runner is rated amongst the top contenders for the honours here at Chelmsford (A.W) today and appears to be very capable of at least making the frame in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Misterioso

Misterioso (IRE) is a 4yo from the Jamie Osborne stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Ascot (Gb) when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

There is only some average recent form where jockey Adam Kirby is concerned in Handicap races and with a typical strike rate this runner goes down as having a basic chance.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Monumental Man

Monumental Man (GB) is a 7yo from the Michael Attwater stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

This one is not one of the leading lights for this race and the only thing that could really be found to give any sort of encouragement to those of you who wish to back a runner at good odds would that it did finish 1st on a unknown course in a race that took place on the 03/05/2013.

Has below average form for today’s chosen jockey when Luke Morris has ridden in races over 6f and the recent results show an unproductive 4% strike rate.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Kummiya

Kummiya (GB) is a 3yo from the Roger Charlton stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Nottingham.

What form does Kummiya (GB) have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 17/11/2015 when it finished 1st. On that day it was racing over 8f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.
