CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE 7-50 Race Date 19/07/16 | Horse Racing

CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE FORM

Frozen Force

Frozen Force (IRE) is a 3yo from the Amanda Perrett stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

So for today’s event we have a Handicap race which is a bonus because this is the same as was encountered on the 04/06/2016 when racing at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb), on that day it put up what would be described as a sterling performance to grab 1st place.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to Amanda Perrett having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Cote D’Azur

Cote D’Azur (GB) Colt who for this race has Luke Morris on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Standard

Looking through the last twelve months form for Cote D’Azur (GB) I can see there was a very good performance put in at Kempton (A.W) (Gb) when fitted with a No Headgear and with the same here again we can expect another competent ride by Luke Morris.

Luke Morris is today’s jockey who has a splendid recent record when ridding the offspring out of this sire and currently the stats show a 20% strike rate.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Age Of Elegance

Age Of Elegance (IRE) is a 4yo from the David Loughnane stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So how can we find a winning approach in this race? Well one of the things I have noticed with this runner is that the was the exquisite display put up at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb) which at first glance may not show too much, but that course and this are both unknown courses which means we have a excellent base on which to proceed.

Looking at the time of year a jockey has ridding winners in the past can help put into perspective their chances of succeeding here today and in the case of Silvestre De Sousa we see a first class strike rate of 22% at this time of year.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

Street Duel

Street Duel (USA) is a 3yo from the Mark Johnston stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Southwell (A.W) (Gb) when it carried 08-13 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Clovelly Bay

Clovelly Bay (IRE) is a 5yo from the Marcus Tregoning stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Intermediate form over the last twelve months is how things appear to be for Clovelly Bay (IRE) who is a 5yo out of the sire by the name Bushranger (IRE), or this is how things look when taking par in Handicap races. Did put in a tolerable run at Great Leighs (A.W) ( on the 06/11/2015 when ridden by Hayley Turner but the word average does spring to mind.

Progressing onto the trainer to gaze at how their recent form has been in Handicap races and it appears to be fair and while this may not be ideal it is satisfactory.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Warofindependence

Warofindependence (USA) is a 4yo from the Alan Bailey stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

So this race is taking place at Chelmsford (A.W) which is a unknown course and that’s the one thing that Warofindependence (USA) does have to offer, a bit of form on a unknown course. However, while its recent run at Kempton (A.W) (Gb) when finishing 2nd looks good as it is also a unknown course it may pay to pass on this runner.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Weald Of Kent

Weald Of Kent (USA) is a 4yo from the Michael Appleby stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford (A.W).

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Southwell (A.W) (Gb) when it carried 09-09 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Ada Misobel

Ada Misobel (IRE) is a 3yo from the Roy Bowring stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Nottingham.

This is a class 6 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Ada Misobel (IRE) it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Catterick (Gb) when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.
