FFOS LAS RACECOURSE FORM

Yorkee Mo Sabee

Yorkee Mo Sabee (IRE) is a 3yo from the Mark Johnston stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

The overall form for Yorkee Mo Sabee (IRE) shows that there was a race on the 07/07/2016 at Carlisle (Gb) when finishing 1st that the same piece of headgear was fitted, although I feel that the result on that day was more of what you would call a typical or regular type of an event.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Yorkee Mo Sabee (IRE) we see it is out of the sire by the name Teofilo (IRE) who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 13% when running in Handicap races.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Raising Sand

Raising Sand (GB) is a 4yo from the Jamie Osborne stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

The overall form for Raising Sand (GB) shows that there was a race on the 06/06/2016 at Windsor (Gb) when finishing 1st that the same piece of headgear was fitted, although I feel that the result on that day was more of what you would call a typical or regular type of an event.

The recent stats for Jamie Osborne tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Topology

Topology (GB) is a 3yo from the Joseph Tuite stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

One of the things about recent form is that it helps that the races are both the same and in the case of Topology (GB) I can tell you that the tiptop display at Windsor (Gb) in a class 4 which took place on the 26/06/2016 was the same class as today’s, so appears to have a notable chance here.

Topology (GB) is a 3yo and runners who are out of the sire Passing Glance (GB) are currently hitting a strike rate of 21%.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Air Of York

Air Of York (IRE) is a 4yo from the David Evans stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

Air Of York (IRE) did have a good result when carrying 09-04 and finishing 1st on the 03/02/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Flat race and jockey Gary Mahon who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 13% has been recorded.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Midnight Rider

Midnight Rider (IRE) is a 8yo from the Rod Millman stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

Overall form shows that Midnight Rider (IRE) who is a 8yo has run in Flat races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

Today’s Handicap race will suit some but not others and with the sire for this runner being Red Ransom (USA) it falls into the category of not suiting as there has only been a 6% strike.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Guiding Light

Guiding Light (IRE) is a 4yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Oisin Murphy.

Weight can play its part much the same as other factors and having a horse with the right weight makes the form worthy, this is what we have with this runner a splendid performance on the Flat when it carried 09-05 to finish 1st. Some may say that the form is not as new as others in the race but it does show it is adept at carrying this sort of weight.

Lets take a look at the direction of the track and at Ffos Las it’s a left handed course which is just as well because Oisin Murphy has had a 15% strike rate on these courses.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Andrew Balding with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Blue Sonic

Blue Sonic (GB) is a 6yo from the Linda Perratt stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

For this runner I think its best to look at its results for the last twelve month to try and make a case for backing it. Finished 1st in a race that took place on the 08/08/2015 which was a Handicap race, but with that said the form still looks below average.

A runners form can tell you about its ability but we also need to know how well the trainers string have been performing in the type of race that they are due to run in and with Linda Perratt stables strike rate of only 5% over the last year for Flat events things are looking unproductive.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.
