NEWBURY RACECOURSE 5-35 Race Date 21/07/16 | Horse Racing

NEWBURY RACECOURSE FORM

The Ducking Stool

The Ducking Stool (GB) is a 9yo from the Julia Feilden stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for The Ducking Stool (GB). Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 04/07/2013 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

Now for stats and these appear to be detrimental, at least when the sires offspring have been entered into Flat races, over the last twelve months it has only record an inferior strike rate of 6%.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose The Ducking Stool (GB) would be classed as having a below average chance.

Obboorr

Obboorr (GB) is a 7yo from the Tim Fitzgerald stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

This is a class 5 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Obboorr (GB) it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb) when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Flat race and jockey Miss H Dukes who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 8% has been recorded.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Classic Mission

Classic Mission (GB) is a 5yo from the Jonathan Portman stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Kempton (A.W) (Gb) on the 12/11/2014 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 11%.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Onorina

Onorina (IRE) is a 4yo from the Jim Boyle stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Onorina (IRE) ran at Lingfield (Gb), finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Bamako Du Chatelet

Bamako Du Chatelet (FR) is a 5yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

This runner would appear to be one of the top selections for this race based on a race it ran in at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb) on the 17/05/2016 when ridden by Marc Monaghan, finished 1st in that event and with the same piece of headgear on again today looks to be an added bonus.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Dellbuoy

Dellbuoy (GB) is a 7yo from the Pat Phelan stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Lingfield (A.W) (Gb) on the 06/12/2013 and this could very well be a factor here.

Dellbuoy (GB) is out of the sire by the name Acclamation (GB) who has some excellent stats on which to back up this runners form, these notable stats are over today’s race distance and show a 50% strike rate.

This runner out of the Pat Phelan stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Nafaath

Nafaath (IRE) is a 10yo from the Donald McCain stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 13f race which taking part here at Newbury.

The one thing that the form book does show for Nafaath (IRE) is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

The last twelve months worth of stats for this sire are substandard or at least when its offspring have been racing over today’s race distance which is currently set in the region of a 6% strike rate.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Nafaath (IRE) would be classed as having a below average chance.

Balliol

Balliol (GB) is a 4yo from the Ronald Harris stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

The race type is often overlooked when studying form but can be a tremendous help, after all we don’t want to be backing horses running in the wrong events. With Balliol (GB) we see that there was a top-notch performance in a Flat race which took place at Windsor (Gb) and while this may not of been the most up to the minute form it does show outstanding ability which can be put to good use here at Doncaster today.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.
