YARMOUTH RACECOURSE 3-50 Race Date 21/07/16 | Horse Racing

YARMOUTH RACECOURSE FORM

Kay Sera

Kay Sera (GB) is a 8yo from the Tony Newcombe stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Kay Sera (GB) the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Southwell (A.W) (Gb) on the 22/12/2015 it carried 09-07 to fill the 2nd spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Hope Is High

Hope Is High (GB) is a 3yo from the John Berry stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The form for Hope Is High (GB) is outstanding and looks to have what it will take for a race like this, ok so its got the same piece of headgear on that it wore when unplaced at Wolverhampton (A.W) on the 14/12/2015 but besides that the form looks top-notch.

left handed course and these types of tracks have recently suited Adam Beschizza very well and stats show an excellent strike rate of 100%.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Pacharana

Pacharana (GB) is a 3yo from the Luca Cumani stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

So a Flat on the cards here and this is the same as what Pacharana (GB) encountered recently at Bath (Gb) when finishing out of the first three. Not a good start you may say but overall this runner does look to have a far better chance here today for this event and I would not worry to much about that unplaced effort.

This runner out of the Luca Cumani stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Fastnet Prince

Fastnet Prince (IRE) is a 3yo from the David Evans stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

Some detrimental form has been shown over the last twelve months when a Tongue-Tie has been fitted and one of those was when unplaced at Windsor (Gb) when ridden by Steve Drowne and therefore its form is considered to be bush-league.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the David Evans yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Topalova

Topalova (GB) is a 3yo from the Mark H Tompkins stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

Flat is on offer here and Topalova (GB) looks to have some agreeable if rather basic form and included in those average runs would be an unplaced effort at Beverley (Gb) when ridden by Saleem Golam.

We know that Topalova (GB) is a 3yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 12%.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Bazzat

Bazzat (IRE) is a 3yo from the John Ryan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

Has only what would only be classed as passable form for this race and with a below standard outing recently at Windsor (Gb) which was over 10f this can be marked down as a runner with average chance on form.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

My Mistress

My Mistress (IRE) is a 4yo from the Phil McEntee stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when My Mistress (IRE) ran at Kempton (A.W) (Gb), finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Overlord

Overlord (GB) is a 4yo from the Mark Rimell stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

Some horses are better suited to handicap races while others are not and in the case of Overlord (GB) it looks as if today’s Handicap race will suit, after all it got 1st place when racing in a similar race at Nottingham (Gb) and that looks to be agreeable form.

Andrew Mullen is today’s jockey who has a splendid recent record when ridding the offspring out of this sire and currently the stats show a 20% strike rate.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Victoriously

Victoriously (GB) is a 4yo from the Andi Brown stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Victoriously (GB). Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 3rd on the 02/08/2014 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

With some discouraging results and below par performances this runner would be seen by most as having a less than average chance of taking the first prize here in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Little Flo

Little Flo (GB) is a 5yo from the William Stone stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Yarmouth.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Little Flo (GB) the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Wolverhampton (A.W) on the 21/12/2015 it carried 09-05 to fill the 2nd spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Little Flo (GB) we see it is out of the sire by the name Midnight Legend (GB) who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 14% when running in Handicap races.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Royal Mighty

Royal Mighty (GB) is from the Jane Chapple-Hyam and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Yarmouth

With this being a Handicap race it is advisable to have a runner with superior form in these types of events and while Royal Mighty (GB) does have some splendid form to talk about there was a race on the 26/08/2015 when things did not go so well in this type of race.

A 3yo runner out of the Jane Chapple-Hyam yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 20% strike rate.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Jane Chapple-Hyam with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Nikki Steel

Nikki Steel (IRE) is a 6yo from the Dr Richard Newland stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 16f race which taking part here at Worcester.

So for today’s event we have a Stakes race which is a bonus because this is the same as was encountered on the 15/06/2016 when racing at Uttoxeter (Gb), on that day it put up what would be described as a sterling performance to grab 1st place.

So on to the race type which is a Hurdle and if the trainer has a good recent record in these types of races it would mean we have a nice selection. The stats show that Dr Richard Newland has been recently hitting at strike rate of 43% in these type of events so looks as if we have found an excellent runner with both good form and stats.

With some tiptop form this notable runner form the Dr Richard Newland stable would be high on anyone’s list and appears to be one of the main contenders in this event.
