SALISBURY RACECOURSE 3-10 Race Date 11/08/16 | Horse Racing

SALISBURY RACECOURSE FORM

Land Of Dubai

Land Of Dubai (IRE) is a 3yo from the Clive Cox stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Salisbury.

Intermediate form over the last twelve months is how things appear to be for Land Of Dubai (IRE) who is a 3yo out of the sire by the name Dubai Destination (USA), or this is how things look when taking par in Stakes races. Did put in a tolerable run at Bath (Gb) on the 03/06/2016 when ridden by Adam Kirby but the word average does spring to mind.

This event is a Flat race and by quickly looking through the jockeys results we can get a better picture of things and in this case a strike rate of 14% is only moderate or satisfactory.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Kylea

Kylea (IRE) is a 3yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Salisbury.

Over the past year Kylea (IRE) appears to have delivered some ordinary results including an unplaced effort at Salisbury (Gb) on the 03/09/2015 when unplaced and makes this ones form look run of the mill.

The recent stats for Richard Hannon tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Malaika

Malaika (GB) is a 3yo from the Mick Channon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Salisbury.

A tolerable yet undistinguished runner who’s form when racing with around this weight may not be perfect and an example would be when it competed at Ffos Las (Gb) on the 19/08/2015 and finished unplaced when carrying a weight of 09-00, which was not to dissimilar to the one it has today.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Mornington

Mornington (GB) is a 3yo from the Marcus Tregoning stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Salisbury.

The wearing of headgear can improve a runner but whether it will help here today I’m not to sure, after all it worn the same piece on the 01/08/2015 when unplaced and while that was not the most recent bit of form does look off putting.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Mornington (GB) would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Port Isaac

Port Isaac (IRE) is a 3yo from the Marcus Tregoning stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Salisbury.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Marcus Tregoning yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Tigerwolf

Tigerwolf (IRE) Colt who for this race has Charles Bishop on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good To Firm

This is a Flat race where over the last twelve months Tigerwolf (IRE) has shown some valuable form and looked a skilled operator when finishing 3rd in a race at Newmarket (Gb) on the 13/04/2016 and although this is not what would be called very recent it is still worth considering.

A 3yo runner out of the Mick Channon yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 15% strike rate.

This looks to be a good race and one in which Tigerwolf (IRE) appears to hold a chance due to the talented form which has been shown in the past and could very well be worth a bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Redalani

Redalani (IRE) is a 6yo from the Alan Brown stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Over the last twelve months Redalani (IRE) does have bits of form on which to weigh up its chances including a run at Wolverhampton (A.W) on the 18/12/2015, this was over today’s race distance and a good place was achieved on that occasion. But not all races are the same and the overall form for this runner may be seen as unproductive and there are others with better form.

Glancing at the recent jockey stats in Flat races we see today’s jockey does not have a great set of results, in fact it’s a discouraging 5%.

The overall form for Redalani (IRE) looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.
