HAYDOCK RACECOURSE 2-45 Race Date 02/09/16 | Horse Racing

HAYDOCK RACECOURSE FORM

Outfox

Outfox is a 2yo from the Bryan Smart stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

This is a class 5 and if we forgive Outfox its run recent at Carlisle, which incidentally was also the same class, we would have an exquisite and first rate choice.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Spring Eternal

Spring Eternal is a 2yo from the Charles Hills stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 14%.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Grey Thou Art

Grey Thou Art is from the Henry Candy and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Haydock

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This is a Flat and one thing I noticed was the recent stats for today’s jockey which shows a 16% strike rate in these type of event which looks agreeable form for this runner.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Haydock.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Cool Breeze

Cool Breeze is a 2yo from the David Simcock stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

The recent stats for David Simcock tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt is a 2yo from the Tom Dascombe stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Stats can play there part in form studying and I have looked to find some suitable results in which to sum up this ones chances. The best one appears to be when Richard Kingscote is ridding a runner carrying around this sort of weight the recent strike rate is only average or run of the mill.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Assertor

Assertor is a 2yo from the Tony Carroll stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Now for stats and these appear to be detrimental, at least when the sires offspring have been entered into Flat races, over the last twelve months it has only record an inferior strike rate of 6%.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Think Fashion

Think Fashion is a 2yo from the Brian Meehan stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Ran in a Stakes recently but out of the placing on that occasion and I feel that there could very well be a repeat of that here again today.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Moonlit Show

Moonlit Show is a 2yo from the Charlie Fellowes stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

With this race being a Stakes we would be looking for good recent form in this type of race and on first glance we can see that Moonlit Show did finish 3rd in such a race but that result may very well not count for much.

So the course direction for Haydock is left handed and over the last twelve months the sire stats for this type of track is below average with only a 5% strike rate.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Vista Steppe

Vista Steppe is a 2yo from the David Simcock stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has form in Stakes races which while not first rate they could be described as satisfactory which suggests that maybe a place is the most likely results for Vista Steppe.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 14%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Harba

Harba is a 2yo from the William Haggas stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Combination here today is Frankie Dettori ridding for William Haggas and recent stats for this partnership shows a distinguished strike rate of 56%.

This runner out of the William Haggas stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Foxcatcher

Foxcatcher is a 2yo from the Clive Cox stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 6f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an above average Jadwiz rating for this race but there was a recent race which took place over today’s distance at Newbury when it failed to make the first three, this could be seen as a negative and could be a reason to look for a runner with better recent form.

Today’s weight of 09-00 is to be considered a good thing based on the recent jockey stats when ridding runners with around this weight. Stats show there is a superior strike rate in the region of 15% which is worthy of making a note about.

This runner looks to have an above average chance in this event and with its superior and dexterous form Foxcatcher looks to be one of the main competitors for this race.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Shine Likeadiamond

Shine Likeadiamond is a 3yo from the Mick Channon stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Exemplary Stakes form is what I feel this one can offer which will compliment a race of this nature and also enhance its chance of taking the winners prize back to Mick Channon training yard. While its race at York on the 09/10/2015 is not the most recent it does prove it can be taken seriously.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.
