YORK RACECOURSE 2-10 Race Date 04/09/16 | Horse Racing

YORK RACECOURSE FORM

Manolito De Madrid

Manolito De Madrid is a 2yo from the Andrew Balding stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at York.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 7f, one of these races in which this Colt put in a sterling effort was at Epsom on the 30/06/2016 and finished 2nd on that occasion which looked to be notable.

On the stats side we see Andrew Balding the trainer has some exceptional recent results in Stakes races and has managed to win these races 22% of the time.

With some notable form to its name Manolito De Madrid looks to be the one to be on for this 7f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Eynhallow

Eynhallow is a 2yo from the Roger Charlton stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at York.

There is some good and bad news for this runner, the bad news is it wore that same piece of headgear recently at Sandown when out of the first three, the good news that on all known form Eynhallow looks set to put in a distinguished display here today at York.

Flat race for both horse and jockey to contend with here and as far as Jim Crowley is concerned there should be no problem due to their recent success rate of 22% in this type of event.

This runner out of the Roger Charlton stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Dan Troop

Dan Troop is a 2yo from the Richard Fahey stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at York.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 13%.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Dick Tracy

Dick Tracy is a 2yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at York.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Father McKenzie

Father McKenzie is a 2yo from the Mick Channon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at York.

Good recent form is what we are after in a race like this but with Father McKenzie this does not look to be the case, in fact its form looks rather discouraging, only spark of light would be that it did fill the 2nd spot when wearing the same piece of headgear.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

First Up

First Up is a 2yo from the Jeremy Noseda stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at York.

We have a Stakes race here for First Up and if we only take recent form into consideration, namely at race at York when finishing out of the first three in a similar race it can be said to only have a moderate chance.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 8%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Zainhom

Zainhom is a 2yo from the Sir Michael Stoute stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at York.

So we have a nice recent run over this distance which took place at Leicester on GOOD TO FIRM (7. when finishing 3rd, looked an unremarkable type of race but could classed as acceptable.

Not all racecourses are the same, some are left handed while others are right and with York it is a left handed course. Looking at the trainers record over the last twelve months we see a tolerable but average strike rate of 11% when their runners have raced on a left handed track.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Come On Percy

Come On Percy is a 2yo from the Richard Fahey stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at York.

Ran in a Stakes recently but out of the placing on that occasion and I feel that there could very well be a repeat of that here again today.

Glancing at the recent jockey stats in Flat races we see today’s jockey does not have a great set of results, in fact it’s a discouraging 4%.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Richard Fahey yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Kayf Willow

Kayf Willow is a 7yo from the Philip Hobbs stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 21f race which taking part here at Fontwell.

Some splendid form over today’s race distance of 21f and while the race at Newton Abbot on the 09/10/2015 may not be right up to the minute but it was a praiseworthy ride by Richard Johnson on that occasion.

There are lots of ways in which we look to enhance a runners form and sometimes easier than others and in the case of Kayf Willow its trained by Philip Hobbs who recently have been enjoying a very good strike rate of 17% when their runners have competed in Hurdle race events.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.
