DONCASTER RACECOURSE FORM

Rene Mathis

Rene Mathis is a 7yo from the Richard Fahey stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Wolverhampton on the 06/01/2013 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Rene Mathis ratings look to be unexceptional.

This is a 7yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 7yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 8%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Captain Colby

Captain Colby is a 5yo from the Ed Walker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Captain Colby did have a good result when carrying 09-05 and finishing 1st on the 03/05/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Flat race and jockey Thomas Brown who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 14% has been recorded.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Tupi

Tupi is a 5yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Sandown on the 13/06/2014 and this could very well be a factor here.

On the stats side we see Ryan Moore the jockey has some exceptional recent results in Stakes races and has managed to win these races 33% of the time.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Doncaster.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Swift Approval

Swift Approval is a 5yo from the Stuart Williams stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Newmarket when it carried 09-04 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Mobsta

Mobsta Horse who for this race has Andrea Atzeni on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good To Soft

So how good is the overall form for Mobsta? Well praiseworthy would seem an appropriate word for this above average contender and this was shown in a race when finishing 1st at Newmarket in a 6f race which is the same as today’s distance, so form looks agreeable.

With this race taking part on a left handed course we need to know if these conditions will suit the runner and in the case of Mobsta we know the trainer is Mick Channon who has a superior strike rate of 17% when they have entered runners to race in this direction.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Mick Channon with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Ride Like The Wind

Ride Like The Wind is a 5yo from the Kevin Ryan stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

We have a Stakes race here and recent form shows that Ride Like The Wind took part in a similar race at Lingfield but was unplaced. However this distinguished 5yo Gelding will be better today and I see no reason to leave out this one for the reckoning.

The breeding side of things shows that Lope De Vega is the sire and when its progeny have run recently in Stakes races there is a first rate 50% strike rate.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Blue Bayou

Blue Bayou is a 4yo from the Brian Meehan stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Blue Bayou ran at Haydock, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Blue Bayou would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Scrutineer

Scrutineer is a 4yo from the Mick Channon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Doncaster on the 24/10/2015 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Scrutineer ratings look to be unexceptional.

This is a Flat race and the sires record when its progeny have raced in these type of events over the last twelve months has been 10%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Birchwood

Birchwood is from the Richard Fahey and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Doncaster

This type of race looks as if suits Birchwood who is a 4yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Doncaster in a Flat race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

A jockey’s ability to get on well with their mounts can be paramount and this can be traced back through the sires form for any runner. In the case of this runner we see that the sire is Dark Angel and over a period of time William Buick has managed a fine strike rate of 20% when ridding the progeny from this sire.

With splendid form this runner is rated amongst the top contenders for the honours here at Doncaster today and appears to be very capable of at least making the frame in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Pipers Note

Pipers Note is a 7yo from the Ruth Carr stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Stakes race it took part in at Beverley on the 16/06/2015 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Pipers Note we see it is out of the sire by the name Piccolo who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 12% when running in Stakes races.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Buying Trouble

Buying Trouble is a 4yo from the David Evans stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Buying Trouble ran at Kempton, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Absolutely So

Absolutely So is a 7yo from the Andrew Balding stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Taking into account the overall form for Absolutely So it would be considered to have a middle of the road chance as there does not seem to be any real factors which stand out. This is a 6f race and ordinary or passable would be the words I would use and it can be seen as more of an each way chance.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case Oisin Murphy recent success rate is only an average looking 7% for a 7yo.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Edward Elgar

Edward Elgar is a 6yo from the Caroline Bailey stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 15f race which taking part here at Uttoxeter.

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Leicester on the 29/11/2015 and this could very well be a factor here.

Hurdle race for both horse and jockey to contend with here and as far as Sean Bowen is concerned there should be no problem due to their recent success rate of 29% in this type of event.

Would appear to have an outstanding chance is this race and form suggests a bet could very well be in order for this runner who looks first rate.

TAUNTON RACECOURSE 2-00 Race Date 30/03/17 | Horse Racing

March 29, 2017 Leave a comment

TAUNTON RACECOURSE FORM

Bradford Bridge

Bradford Bridge is a 5yo from the Philip Hobbs stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

Some horses can handle carrying large loads while other can’t so if we can find an excellent run where there were similar weights were involved it would be an valuable extra bonus and in this case we need to look no further than its outing at Hereford when placed 2nd.

With some tiptop form this notable runner form the Philip Hobbs stable would be high on anyone’s list and appears to be one of the main contenders in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Telmadela

Telmadela is a 7yo from the Richenda Ford stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

We have a Stakes race here and an established but average looking runner in the shape of Telmadela has form in these types of races and one of these was at Wincanton when finishing unplaced a while back but generally looks average.

This runner has average looking form along with the trainer who over the last year has recorded a basic strike rate when their runners have carried around the same weight as this one.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Touch Kick

Touch Kick is a 6yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So what can I say about this ones form? Well to start with it has an excellent Jadwiz rating which is a good sign and another thing I have noticed is that when this Gelding finished 1st at Wincanton on the 04/04/2016 it was ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies who has again been chosen to produce another first class ride.

On the stats side we see Paul Nicholls the trainer has some exceptional recent results in Stakes races and has managed to win these races 21% of the time.

This runner out of the Paul Nicholls stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Jadwiz Note: We now know that this is a notable and distinguished looking runner in this race with exceptional form and stats which makes this one of the pinnacle bets of the day.

Hidden Cargo

Hidden Cargo is a 5yo from the Alan King stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Hidden Cargo the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Wincanton on the 13/12/2016 it carried 10-12 to fill the 2nd spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Hurdle and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Sizing At Midnight

Sizing At Midnight is a 5yo from the Colin Tizzard stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at on the its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Sizing At Midnight ratings look to be unexceptional.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Speedalong

Speedalong is a 6yo from the Jeremy Scott stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

So we have a Stakes event and a runner with some below par form and one of those below average performances came at Wincanton in a 6 Stakes race when it was unplaced.

Glancing at the recent jockey stats in Hurdle races we see today’s jockey does not have a great set of results, in fact it’s a discouraging 4%.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Bach De Clermont

Bach De Clermont is a 6yo who looks to have some fine form for this Stakes race and today is ridden by Adam Wedge.

This is a Hurdle race where over the last twelve months Bach De Clermont has shown some valuable form and looked a skilled operator when finishing 3rd in a race at Fakenham on the 01/01/2017 and although this is not what would be called very recent it is still worth considering.

Bach De Clermont is a 6yo and this age of runner has seen some very good recent results and currently the strike rate stands at around at 17%.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Evan Williams with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Bite The Biscuit

Bite The Biscuit is a 5yo from the Philip Hobbs stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 19f race which taking part here at Taunton.

Today’s weight for this runner is very similar to the one recently carried at Southwell when unplaced and that form appears to be how good this runner is and not ideal selection for this race.

Has a No Headgear on today and stats from the sire look to be detrimental having an overall strike rate of only 4%.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Bite The Biscuit would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Rat Catcher

Rat Catcher is a 7yo from the Lisa Williamson stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Wolverhampton.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Wolverhampton on the 09/02/2015 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 5f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

LINGFIELD RACECOURSE 2-50 Race Date 29/03/17 | Horse Racing

March 28, 2017 Leave a comment

LINGFIELD RACECOURSE FORM

West Leake

West Leake is a 11yo from the Paul Burgoyne stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Sometimes a runner can seem to be head and shoulders above others in a race and this would be one of them based on its outings to date, one of these that proves the point would be when it raced at Lingfield and came in 1st in a Handicap and this looked a notable event.

This runner out of the Paul Burgoyne stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Spice Boat

Spice Boat is a 5yo from the Paddy Butler stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Does not have one of the highest Jadwiz ratings in this race and would possible be seen as more of an each way chance based on form that was on display when running in a Handicap race on the 27/10/2015 when finishing 2nd.

Handicap race here and although the trainer Paddy Butler has entered Spice Boat for this event their stats for these type of races is below par.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Palace Moon

Palace Moon is a 12yo from the Michael Attwater stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

So what chance does Palace Moon on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Lingfield which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 6 event.

With some ailing or insufficient trainer stats recorded over today’s race distance of 8f Michael Attwater does not appear to have what it takes to get a high level of winners over this distance.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

The Special One

The Special One is a 4yo from the Ali Stronge stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

So for today’s event we have a Handicap race which is a bonus because this is the same as was encountered on the 11/03/2017 when racing at Chelmsford, on that day it put up what would be described as a sterling performance to grab 3rd place.

Stats show that when today’s jockey has been racing on a left handed course over the last twelve months there has been a top-notch strike rate of 22%.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to Ali Stronge having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Kristoff

Kristoff is a 4yo from the Jim Boyle stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Wolverhampton on the 25/01/2016 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

Progressing onto the trainer to gaze at how their recent form has been in Handicap races and it appears to be fair and while this may not be ideal it is satisfactory.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Sir Jamie

Sir Jamie is a 4yo from the Tony Carroll stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Has form in Handicap races which while not first rate they could be described as satisfactory which suggests that maybe a place is the most likely results for Sir Jamie.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Sir Jamie we see it is out of the sire by the name Monsieur Bond who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 12% when running in Handicap races.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Way Up High

Way Up High is a 5yo from the Steve Flook stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Put in a bush-league type of performance when recently racing at Lingfield with the same piece of headgear which Way Up High is set to wear again for this event which does not look to good.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Living Leader

Living Leader is a 8yo from the Grace Harris stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Living Leader did have a good result when carrying 09-00 and finishing 1st on the 08/04/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Progressing onto the trainer to gaze at how their recent form has been in Handicap races and it appears to be fair and while this may not be ideal it is satisfactory.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Fairy Mist

Fairy Mist is a 10yo from the John Bridger stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Fairy Mist did have a good result when carrying 09-00 and finishing 1st on the 08/07/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

The recent results of the offspring from the sire shows that when its offspring have raced with approximately this weight there is a 7% strike rate which is a regular set of stats.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Fishergate

Fishergate is from the Richard Rowe and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Lingfield

Some horses are natural born racers while others need a bit of persuading to bring out the best in them and this often comes in the form some type of headgear and if we look back to a race that took place on 18/06/2015 we see it finished 1st with a No Headgear, same as today.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Coup De Vent

Coup De Vent is a 6yo from the John O’Shea stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 8f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

So what chance does Coup De Vent on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Lingfield which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 6 event.

We know Coup De Vent is set to carry 09-02 but over the last twelve months the trainers runners when carrying around this weight have only prevailed 6% of the time which is off putting.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Boots And Spurs

Boots And Spurs is a 8yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Southwell.

Taking into account the overall form for Boots And Spurs it would be considered to have a middle of the road chance as there does not seem to be any real factors which stand out. This is a 8f race and ordinary or passable would be the words I would use and it can be seen as more of an each way chance.

We have looked at form and now move on to the recent stats for runners out of the sire when runner on a left handed course which an average strike rate in the order of 8%.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

MARKET RASEN RACECOURSE 5-10 Race Date 27/03/17 | Horse Racing

March 26, 2017 Leave a comment

MARKET RASEN RACECOURSE FORM

No No Jolie

No No Jolie is a 5yo from the Oliver Sherwood stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The form for No No Jolie is outstanding and looks to have what it will take for a race like this, ok so its got the same piece of headgear on that it wore when unplaced at Fontwell on the 19/10/2016 but besides that the form looks top-notch.

As we know jockeys play there part and in particular Leighton Aspell who when ridding this sires offspring has, in the last twelve month recorded a 25% strike rate.

Would appear to have an outstanding chance is this race and form suggests a bet could very well be in order for this runner who looks first rate.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Potters Sapphire

Potters Sapphire is a 4yo from the Lucy Wadham stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Some runners have a weight range where they can either run well or badly and in the case of Potters Sapphire today’s weight falls onto the not so good range based on its run at Wetherby when it carried 10-12.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Northern Girl

Northern Girl is a 4yo from the Philip Kirby stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

The overall form for Northern Girl shows that there was a race on the 27/02/2017 at Ayr when finishing 3rd that the same piece of headgear was fitted, although I feel that the result on that day was more of what you would call a typical or regular type of an event.

So lets have a look at some recent sire stats and in this case it’s for today’s race distance of 16f which show a bog standard 14% strike rate.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Bury The Evidence

Bury The Evidence is a 4yo from the Derek Shaw stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Ran in a Stakes recently but out of the placing on that occasion and I feel that there could very well be a repeat of that here again today.

Jockey stats time again and G Lavery does not have a great record with 4yo runners, in fact their record shows only a substandard strike rate of 4%.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Doctor Thea

Doctor Thea Filly who for this race has Brian Harding on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good To Soft

Looks a talented runner who is not without a chance on form, even if it did put in what would be described as a below par effort when racing recently at Wetherby in a Stakes race. That recent race could be seen as harmful but overall form does look worthy.

Another Stakes race here and now we will take a look at the jockey and their stats in these type of races which I can tell you for Brian Harding over the last twelve months is above average with a 20% strike rate.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Vbadge Treat

Vbadge Treat is a 4yo from the Harry Whittington stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runner is a 4yo and recent results for today’s jockey show an impressive strike rate of 33% when in charge of runners of this age.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to Harry Whittington having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Creole Dancer

Creole Dancer is a 5yo from the Tony Coyle stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Average stats is what we have here for today’s jockey when ridding a 5yo, or at least over the last twelve months and these results would be considered acceptable or admissible.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Presenting Pearl

Presenting Pearl is a 4yo from the Jamie Snowden stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Presenting Pearl would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Dr Red Eye

Dr Red Eye is a 9yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Wolverhampton.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Chester on the 25/05/2013 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

Sires pass their ability down and this means some are more suited to a number of courses rather than others and in the case of today’s sire which is Dr Fong we see that over the last twelve mouths there is a 10% at this racecourse.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

WINCANTON RACECOURSE FORM

Doing Fine

Doing Fine is a 9yo from the Neil Mulholland stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

The race type is often overlooked when studying form but can be a tremendous help, after all we don’t want to be backing horses running in the wrong events. With Doing Fine we see that there was a top-notch performance in a Chase race which took place at Ffos Las and while this may not of been the most up to the minute form it does show outstanding ability which can be put to good use here at Wincanton today.

With the trainers recent stats recording at high strike rate of 25% when entering runners wearing the same piece of headgear that this one wears its no wonder this one has a very good Jadwiz rating.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Handicap event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Umberto D’Olivate

Umberto D’Olivate is a 9yo from the Robert Walford stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

The time of year can help some horses in that they can perform well some months but not so well in others and judging this one on its display in a race at Fontwell during this month its overall form might be considered to be modest.

Raajih

Raajih is a 9yo from the Ron Hodges stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

So what chance does Raajih on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Perth which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 3 event.

Jockey stats time again and Matt Griffiths does not have a great record with 9yo runners, in fact their record shows only a substandard strike rate of 6%.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Flaming Charmer

Flaming Charmer is a 9yo from the Colin Tizzard stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

Does not have one of the highest Jadwiz ratings in this race and would possible be seen as more of an each way chance based on form that was on display when running in a Handicap race on the 12/01/2013 when finishing 1st.

Colin Tizzard record in Handicap races recently can be described as ailing with a low strike rate of only 6% being recorded.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Moss On The Mill

Moss On The Mill is a 9yo from the Tom George stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

What form does Moss On The Mill have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 10/11/2016 when it finished 1st. On that day it was racing over 26f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

There is what would be called run of the mill results for this jockey when racing at this time of the year and with only a satisfactory strike rate of 13% others look better treated.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Pressurize

Pressurize is a 11yo from the Venetia Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 25f race which taking part here at Wincanton.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Pressurize we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 3 race at Wincanton a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case Charlie Deutsch recent success rate is only an average looking 14% for a 11yo.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Lakeshore Lady

Lakeshore Lady is a 7yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Tom Cannon.

This is a Chase race where over the last twelve months Lakeshore Lady has shown some valuable form and looked a skilled operator when finishing 2nd in a race at Stratford on the 15/05/2016 and although this is not what would be called very recent it is still worth considering.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

KELSO RACECOURSE 2-05 Race Date 25/03/17 | Horse Racing

KELSO RACECOURSE FORM

Sleepy Haven

Sleepy Haven is a 7yo from the Jennie Candlish stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Kelso.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Sleepy Haven. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 10/01/2015 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

Sean Quinlan who is today’s jockey has some insufficient recent stats which show when ridding runners carrying a weight in the region of today’s their strike rate has only been a substandard 4%.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Cup Final

Cup Final is a 8yo from the Ben Haslam stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Kelso.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Cup Final. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 06/12/2014 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

Glancing at the recent jockey stats in Hurdle races we see today’s jockey does not have a great set of results, in fact it’s a discouraging 4%.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Runswick Royal

Runswick Royal is a 8yo from the Ann Hamilton stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Runswick Royal is one of the runners here that takes the eye with some outstanding performances to its name most notable of these I feel was when finishing 1st at Kelso in a class 2 event the same as today’s which gets us off to a admirable start with our form studying.

This runner is a 8yo and recent results for today’s jockey show an impressive strike rate of 38% when in charge of runners of this age.

This runner out of the Ann Hamilton stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Teo Vivo

Teo Vivo Gelding who for this race has Brian Hughes on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Heavy

This type of race looks as if suits Teo Vivo who is a 10yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Perth in a Hurdle race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

Accomplished stats is what we have for this sire and in particular when racing in Handicap races which shows a fine recent record of 17%.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Some Invitation

Some Invitation is a 6yo from the Dan Skelton stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Bangor-On-Dee.

This is a class 4 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Some Invitation it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Wetherby when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Some Invitation we see it is out of the sire by the name Presenting who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 7% when running in Stakes races.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

MUSSELBURGH RACECOURSE 2-45 Race Date 24/03/17 | Horse Racing

MUSSELBURGH RACECOURSE FORM

Pineapple Crush

Pineapple Crush is a 5yo from the Martin Todhunter stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Recent good form in the right class could be the way of looking at things and in the case of Pineapple Crush who is trained by Martin Todhunter we can seen a nice run at Hexham in this class of race. But with that said it must be understood that the form of that race may be substandard and not as good as it first appeared.

If we apply a weight range to the 10-09 this runner is set to carry, example a few pounds either way, we can check the sires recent record with its offspring which shows an unproductive 6% strike rate.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Rock Solid

Rock Solid is a 8yo from the Paul Stafford stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Will start be letting you know this is a Hurdle race and Rock Solid does have recent form in these type of event, not great and overall form would only be average.

On the cards here is a Hurdle race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 9%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Paper Roses

Paper Roses is a 6yo from the Donald Whillans stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

One of the things to look for in a race that can be used to find first rate winners is the time of year that it is taking place and with Paper Roses we see that there was an admirable performance put up on the 15/03/2016, which is the same month as we are in now, came in 2nd on that occasion an that would appear to be good enough form for today’s event.

Looking at recent stats gives an up to date picture of what is happening and in the case of the jockeys record we see that currently over today’s race distance of 19f there is an exceptional 25% strike rate.

This runner out of the Donald Whillans stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Picture Painter

Picture Painter is from the Jim Goldie and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Musselburgh

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Dance Of Fire

Dance Of Fire is a 5yo from the N W Alexander stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

On the cards here is a Hurdle race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 7%.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Lycidas

Lycidas is a 8yo from the James Ewart stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Another runner who’s form looks to be damaging is Lycidas and the only thing to write home about would be it came 1st in a Hurdle race, not recently, but was within the last twelve months.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Slanelough

Slanelough is a 5yo from the Rose Dobbin stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

With this race being a Stakes we would be looking for good recent form in this type of race and on first glance we can see that Slanelough did finish 2nd in such a race but that result may very well not count for much.

This is a Hurdle race and one where recent stats for this trainer have not been going to well, in fact they are considered to be insufficient with only a 6% strike rate being recorded.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Ruby Who

Ruby Who is a 5yo from the Rose Dobbin stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

We have a Stakes race here and an established but average looking runner in the shape of Ruby Who has form in these types of races and one of these was at Newcastle when finishing unplaced a while back but generally looks average.

This runner is has an average chance and the stats which demonstrate this best are the sires offspring when racing in Stakes event and over the last twelve months there has been a 11% strike rate.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Important Moment

Important Moment is a 8yo from the S R B Crawford stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 19f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

So what can I say about this ones form? Well to start with it has an excellent Jadwiz rating which is a good sign and another thing I have noticed is that when this Gelding finished 1st at Perth on the 10/07/2016 it was ridden by A E Lynch who has again been chosen to produce another first class ride.

A E Lynch takes charge in this Hurdle which considering their strike rate of 22% over the last year in these events is excellent news.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to S R B Crawford having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Aragon Knight

Aragon Knight is a 4yo from the Heather Main stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

A left handed course to contend with here today and the recent sire stats are not that good at only a 6% strike rate which as we all know means there are better choices in this race.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.
