HUNTINGDON RACECOURSE 1-45 Race Date 15/03/17 | Horse Racing

HUNTINGDON RACECOURSE FORM

Calling Des Blins

Calling Des Blins is a 5yo from the Dan Skelton stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

This runner looks to have above average form and one of the reasons is its proven form when taking part in Stakes races like the one today. In finishing 2nd in a race on the 02/04/2016 it proved itself to be capable of winning a race of this nature.

Stakes race which looking at the sire stats will suit Calling Des Blins very well considering over the last twelve months there has been a 20% strike rate.

This looks to be a good race and one in which Calling Des Blins appears to hold a chance due to the talented form which has been shown in the past and could very well be worth a bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Kala Lord

Kala Lord is a 6yo from the Rosemary Gasson stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

There was recently a below average performance over today’s distance when racing at Southwell when Ben Poste could not get a good enough run to get Kala Lord into the frame and up to date form looks insufficient.

A runners form can tell you about its ability but we also need to know how well the trainers string have been performing in the type of race that they are due to run in and with Rosemary Gasson stables strike rate of only 5% over the last year for Hurdle events things are looking unproductive.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Burning Heat

Burning Heat is a 4yo from the James Eustace stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Intermediate form over the last twelve months is how things appear to be for Burning Heat who is a 4yo out of the sire by the name Rock Of Gibraltar, or this is how things look when taking par in Stakes races. Did put in a tolerable run at Chelmsford on the 08/12/2016 when ridden by Ryan Tate but the word average does spring to mind.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Hurdle and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Christmas In April

Christmas In April is a 5yo from the Nicky Henderson stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Exemplary Stakes form is what I feel this one can offer which will compliment a race of this nature and also enhance its chance of taking the winners prize back to Nicky Henderson training yard. While its race at Market Rasen on the 25/05/2016 is not the most recent it does prove it can be taken seriously.

Combination here today is Ned Curtis ridding for Nicky Henderson and recent stats for this partnership shows a distinguished strike rate of 25%.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Seamoor Secret

Seamoor Secret is a 5yo from the Alex Hales stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Some runners are more suited to a Stakes race as we have here today but judging Seamoor Secret on its effort at Warwick on the 20/05/2014 when unplaced in the same type of race its form looks detrimental.

The jockey has some below average form at the moment in Stakes races which is off putting and is only hitting the target 5% of the time.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Brown Paddy

Brown Paddy is a 7yo from the Laura Hurley stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Over the past year Brown Paddy appears to have delivered some ordinary results including an unplaced effort at Worcester on the 22/06/2016 when unplaced and makes this ones form look run of the mill.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Hurdle and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Scrutinise

Scrutinise is a 5yo from the Tim Vaughan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Stakes race it took part in at Great Leighs on the 19/05/2015 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

The recent stats for Tim Vaughan tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Hurdle events.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Miss Williams

Miss Williams is a 6yo from the Charlie Longsdon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

We have a Stakes race here and an established but average looking runner in the shape of Miss Williams has form in these types of races and one of these was at Stratford when finishing unplaced a while back but generally looks average.

Think we will look at jockey stats this time for this Stakes race and in doing so we find that at 8% the strike rate for the last twelve month is not great but more average.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Premier Currency

Premier Currency is a 4yo from the Mike Murphy stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Tongue-Tie for Premier Currency today and as far as the overall stats for the trainer when fitting this piece of headgear is concerned it does not look to good with only a 4% strike rate.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Mike Murphy yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Calva D’Honore

Calva D’Honore Gelding who for this race has Conor Shoemark on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good To Soft

One of the things that came to light when looking through the form for this runner was today’s weight of 11-02 which is very similar to the weight carried on the 07/06/2016 when finishing 1st and would look to have an above average chance for this event.

A Stakes where Conor Shoemark is given a leg up to get the job done and if stats are anything to go by looks possible due to their recent strike rate of 17% in this type of event.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Huntingdon.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Sayedaati Saadati

Sayedaati Saadati is a 4yo from the John Butler stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Stakes race here for Sayedaati Saadati to try and compete for the winners prize which I feel may not be that easy as its only shown intermediate or basic form in the past.

So here we are with Sayedaati Saadati ready to take part in a Stakes race which may not be the best choice due to the fact that over the last year its current trainer has only hit the winners enclosure 14% of the time which is only a moderate success rate.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

So Celebre

So Celebre is a 4yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

This is a class 5 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with So Celebre it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Salisbury when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

The recent stats for Ian Williams tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Hurdle events.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Coyoacan

Coyoacan is a 5yo from the Warren Greatrex stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 15f, one of these races in which this Gelding put in a sterling effort was at Huntingdon on the 26/12/2016 and finished 3rd on that occasion which looked to be notable.

With the trainers recent stats recording at high strike rate of 50% when entering runners wearing the same piece of headgear that this one wears its no wonder this one has a very good Jadwiz rating.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Huntingdon.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Head High

Head High is a 4yo from the Sarah Hollinshead stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

So what chance does Head High on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Hamilton which while not recent it did manage to finish 2nd in that class 5 event.

Robert Dunne who is today’s jockey has some insufficient recent stats which show when ridding runners carrying a weight in the region of today’s their strike rate has only been a substandard 6%.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Chateau Chinon

Chateau Chinon is a 5yo from the Dan Skelton stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 15f race which taking part here at Huntingdon.

Looks an excellent sort who slightly veered of path when failing to finish in the first three in a Stakes race at Uttoxeter when priced up at 12/1 , this I feel is only a minor blemish and the last twelve months form looks notable.

Dan Skelton running a 5yo recently has produced some outstanding stats which show a current strike rate of 22% which goes well with the runners form for this race.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Huntingdon.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Invincible Man

Invincible Man is a 3yo from the James Tate stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So you are looking for a runner with excellent recent form, if that’s the case then Invincible Man fits the bill with its top-notch display at Wolverhampton over 7f when it got the 2nd prize of £3k for the James Tate stable.

This runner has a trainer and jockey partnership which recently has been working very well to create a top-notch strike rate of 50% which enhances this ones form.

This runner out of the James Tate stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Jadwiz Note: With all the first rate form and stats it has to be said that this looks to be one of the main bets of the day and should not be overlooked here.
