AINTREE RACECOURSE FORM

Tenor Nivernais

Tenor Nivernais is a 10yo from the Venetia Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Kempton on the 24/11/2014 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

This is a Chase race and the sires record when its progeny have raced in these type of events over the last twelve months has been 11%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Shantou Flyer

Shantou Flyer is a 7yo from the Rebecca Curtis stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

So lets have a look at what Shantou Flyer has achieved in the last twelve months and one of the better ones was in a Chase race at Cheltenham when achieving a satisfactory 1st place. Aidan Coleman rode a fair and passable race for Rebecca Curtis on that occasion and one would expect another up to scratch type of performance.

On the cards here is a Chase race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 12%.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Le Mercurey

Le Mercurey is a 7yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

The race type is often overlooked when studying form but can be a tremendous help, after all we don’t want to be backing horses running in the wrong events. With Le Mercurey we see that there was a top-notch performance in a Chase race which took place at Plumpton and while this may not of been the most up to the minute form it does show outstanding ability which can be put to good use here at Aintree today.

This looks a nice Chase race and one in which Nickname, who is the sire has some exquisite recent stats. These stats show a first class strike rate of 36% when its offspring have run in Chase races.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to Paul Nicholls having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Raz De Maree

Raz De Maree is a 12yo from the Gavin Cromwell stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Raz De Maree we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 1 race at Uttoxeter a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

The trainer of this runner is Gavin Cromwell who record when they have entered runners into races with this type of headgear is pretty much bog standard and nothing special.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Ballynagour

Ballynagour is a 11yo from the David Pipe stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Ballynagour did have a good result when carrying 10-09 and finishing 1st on the 13/03/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Chase race and jockey David Noonan who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 7% has been recorded.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Saint Are

Saint Are is from the Tom George and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Aintree

This type of race looks as if suits Saint Are who is a 11yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Doncaster in a Chase race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

Taking a quick looks at what the jockey stats can tell us and overall when Davy Russell has ridden in a Handicap race there has been some valuable results which show an overall strike rate of 19%.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Houblon Des Obeaux

Houblon Des Obeaux is a 10yo from the Venetia Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Houblon Des Obeaux we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 1 race at Newbury a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

This runner has average looking form along with the trainer who over the last year has recorded a basic strike rate when their runners have carried around the same weight as this one.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Highland Lodge

Highland Lodge is a 11yo from the James Moffatt stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Overall form shows that Highland Lodge who is a 11yo has run in Chase races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Lord Windermere

Lord Windermere is a 11yo from the J H Culloty stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Lord Windermere we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 1 race at Cheltenham a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

A few stats can help when making a decision about a runners chance and with Lord Windermere we see it is out of the sire by the name Oscar who’s offspring have a passable recent strike rate of 11% when running in Handicap races.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Ucello Conti

Ucello Conti is a 9yo from the Gordon Elliott stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

So we have a Handicap event and a runner with some below par form and one of those below average performances came at Aintree in a 1 Handicap race when it was unplaced.

Gordon Elliott record in Handicap races recently can be described as ailing with a low strike rate of only 5% being recorded.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Wonderful Charm

Wonderful Charm is a 9yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Ms K Walsh.

Had a recent Chase race in which it came in a splendid 1st and a repeat of that form would give this one an above average chance.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Aintree.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Cause Of Causes

Cause Of Causes is a 9yo from the Gordon Elliott stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Does not have one of the highest Jadwiz ratings in this race and would possible be seen as more of an each way chance based on form that was on display when running in a Handicap race on the 17/03/2016 when finishing 1st.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Regal Encore

Regal Encore is a 9yo from the Anthony Honeyball stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The race type is often overlooked when studying form but can be a tremendous help, after all we don’t want to be backing horses running in the wrong events. With Regal Encore we see that there was a top-notch performance in a Chase race which took place at Plumpton and while this may not of been the most up to the minute form it does show outstanding ability which can be put to good use here at Aintree today.

Chase race for both horse and jockey to contend with here and as far as Robbie Power is concerned there should be no problem due to their recent success rate of 50% in this type of event.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Aintree.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

The Young Master

The Young Master is a 8yo from the Neil Mulholland stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

The Young Master did have a good result when carrying 11-02 and finishing 1st on the 10/01/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

So today’s headgear is a Cheekpieces and recent sire stats show that runners wearing this head covering have achieved an adequate strike rate of 11%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Thunder And Roses

Thunder And Roses is a 9yo from the M F Morris stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

This runners has roughly the same weight as when racing at Cheltenham on the 10/03/2015 and while that is not the most up to date form the performance was not great either and goes down as one with only a moderate chance.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Rogue Angel

Rogue Angel is a 9yo from the M F Morris stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Has form which looks to be detrimental and is not one to trust based on the performance it put in on the 11/03/2014 at Cheltenham in a Chase, which was the same type as today and while not the most recent race overall racing has looked substandard.

With some discouraging results and below par performances this runner would be seen by most as having a less than average chance of taking the first prize here in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Bishops Road

Bishops Road is a 9yo from the Kerry Lee stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

This is a Chase race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Sandown on the 02/01/2016 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

On the cards here is a Chase race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 7%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Definitly Red

Definitly Red is from the Brian Ellison and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Aintree

We need a runner that is competent in the class of race that it is running and in this case it’s a class 1 which means that Definitly Red falls under the category after putting up a fine performance at Newbury and while not the latest form does display its talent.

The sire for this runner is Definite Article who is known for producing horses that have a proficient strike rate of 15% when they are a 8yo, so looks a worthy contender.

With splendid form this runner is rated amongst the top contenders for the honours here at Aintree today and appears to be very capable of at least making the frame in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Vicente

Vicente Gelding who for this race has Brian Hughes on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good

This type of race looks as if suits Vicente who is a 8yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Wincanton in a Chase race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

Paul Nicholls is today’s trainer and when there are runners out of the sire by the name Dom Alco we find that over the last twelve months there is a 18% strike rate.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

The Last Samuri

The Last Samuri is a 9yo from the Kim Bailey stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Chase and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Doctor Harper

Doctor Harper is a 9yo from the David Pipe stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Set to be ridden by Conor O’Farrell for the David Pipe and is a 9yo which may be a problem because the jockeys 4% strike rate over the last twelve months when ridding a 9yo.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Wounded Warrior

Wounded Warrior is a 8yo from the Noel Meade stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

This is a Chase race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 3rd at Cheltenham on the 11/03/2015 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

Wounded Warrior wears a No Headgear for this race and recently I would say that trainer Noel Meade has not really been producing enough winners when fitted with this type of headgear to warrant top marks and goes down as having a basic chance.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Double Shuffle

Double Shuffle is a 7yo from the Tom George stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

So on to the race type which is a Chase and if the trainer has a good recent record in these types of races it would mean we have a nice selection. The stats show that Tom George has been recently hitting at strike rate of 22% in these type of events so looks as if we have found an excellent runner with both good form and stats.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Vieux Lion Rouge

Vieux Lion Rouge is a 8yo from the David Pipe stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Vieux Lion Rouge. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 16/01/2014 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

David Pipe record in Handicap races recently can be described as ailing with a low strike rate of only 5% being recorded.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Cocktails At Dawn

Cocktails At Dawn is a 9yo from the Nicky Henderson stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

The time of year can help some horses in that they can perform well some months but not so well in others and judging this one on its display in a race at Sandown during this month its overall form might be considered to be modest.

Progressing onto the trainer to gaze at how their recent form has been in Handicap races and it appears to be fair and while this may not be ideal it is satisfactory.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

One For Arthur

One For Arthur is a 8yo from the Lucinda Russell stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

On the cards here is a Chase race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 9%.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Roi Des Francs

Roi Des Francs is a 8yo from the Gordon Elliott stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Clonmel on the 10/02/2015 and this could very well be a factor here.

This looks a nice Chase race and one in which Poliglote, who is the sire has some exquisite recent stats. These stats show a first class strike rate of 33% when its offspring have run in Chase races.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Pleasant Company

Pleasant Company is a 9yo from the W P Mullins stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

This runner looks to have a nice weight here today even though it did finish out of the first three with a similar weight on the 21/02/2014 when racing at Exeter. This run I think can be dismissed as its not the most recent and Pleasant Company now looks capable of putting in a admirable run.

So on to the race type which is a Chase and if the trainer has a good recent record in these types of races it would mean we have a nice selection. The stats show that W P Mullins has been recently hitting at strike rate of 22% in these type of events so looks as if we have found an excellent runner with both good form and stats.

With some notable form to its name Pleasant Company looks to be the one to be on for this 34f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Blaklion

Blaklion is a 8yo from the Nigel Twiston-Davies stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Blaklion. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 27/03/2014 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

O’Faolains Boy

O’Faolains Boy is a 10yo from the Rebecca Curtis stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Overall form shows that O’Faolains Boy who is a 10yo has run in Chase races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose O’Faolains Boy would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Perfect Candidate

Perfect Candidate is a 10yo from the Fergal O’Brien stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

I looked through all this ones form to find something which could make it stand out and while there was a Handicap race it took part in at Cheltenham on the 01/01/2016 its performance that day only appeared to be moderate or standard.

Stats can play there part in form studying and I have looked to find some suitable results in which to sum up this ones chances. The best one appears to be when Paddy Brennan is ridding a runner carrying around this sort of weight the recent strike rate is only average or run of the mill.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Gas Line Boy

Gas Line Boy is a 11yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Overall form shows that Gas Line Boy who is a 11yo has run in Chase races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

General form for this runner is detrimental and it’s the same story when looking at the results for the offspring for the sire, this lets us know that there has only been a 5% strike rate for runners when racing as a 11yo.

The overall form for Gas Line Boy looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Saphir Du Rheu

Saphir Du Rheu is a 8yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Some horses are better suited to handicap races while others are not and in the case of Saphir Du Rheu it looks as if today’s Handicap race will suit, after all it got 1st place when racing in a similar race at Kempton and that looks to be agreeable form.

This is a Chase and one thing I noticed was the recent stats for today’s jockey which shows a 18% strike rate in these type of event which looks agreeable form for this runner.

Capable of putting in a superior run here and while this one is not at the very top it does have some praiseworthy form to its name which means it would at least be worthy candidate for a short list.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Measureofmydreams

Measureofmydreams is a 9yo from the Noel Meade stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

This is a Chase race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 3rd at Cheltenham on the 15/03/2016 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

Measureofmydreams wears a Cheekpieces for this race and recently I would say that trainer Noel Meade has not really been producing enough winners when fitted with this type of headgear to warrant top marks and goes down as having a basic chance.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Drop Out Joe

Drop Out Joe is a 9yo from the Charlie Longsdon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Overall form shows that Drop Out Joe who is a 9yo has run in Chase races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

If we apply a weight range to the 11-01 this runner is set to carry, example a few pounds either way, we can check the sires recent record with its offspring which shows an unproductive 6% strike rate.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Stellar Notion

Stellar Notion is a 9yo from the Henry De Bromhead stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Stellar Notion did have a good result when carrying 11-05 and finishing 1st on the 15/01/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Fitting of headgear is normally done to help the runner try and get the job done but if the jockey such as David Mullins has only a recent strike rate of 9% when ridding horses wearing a type of head covering it does not inspire confidence, after all its only a standard sort of success rate.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Just A Par

Just A Par is a 10yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

Does not have one of the highest Jadwiz ratings in this race and would possible be seen as more of an each way chance based on form that was on display when running in a Handicap race on the 25/04/2015 when finishing 1st.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

More Of That

More Of That is a 9yo from the Jonjo O’Neill stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

We need a runner that is competent in the class of race that it is running and in this case it’s a class 1 which means that More Of That falls under the category after putting up a fine performance at Cheltenham and while not the latest form does display its talent.

Sire stats now and recent ones show a fine 15% strike rate when running in Chase event which us some above average form and stats.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Jonjo O’Neill with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Goodtoknow

Goodtoknow is a 9yo from the Kerry Lee stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 34f race which taking part here at Aintree.

This should be one of the leading horses in this race and has some excellent to speak of over the last twelve month including when putting in meritorious display when taking part in an event at Hereford when this Gelding with the assistance of Jake Greenall got itself to finish 1st, that was a Chase race and another excellent run would be expected here today.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Jaunty Flyer

Jaunty Flyer is a 5yo from the Brian Eckley stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Good recent form is what we are after in a race like this but with Jaunty Flyer this does not look to be the case, in fact its form looks rather discouraging, only spark of light would be that it did fill the 3rd spot when wearing the same piece of headgear.

Today’s Stakes race will suit some but not others and with the sire for this runner being Sulamani it falls into the category of not suiting as there has only been a 6% strike.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.
