MARKET RASEN RACECOURSE FORM

Storm Warning

Storm Warning is a 5yo from the Warren Greatrex stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

With this being a Stakes race it is advisable to have a runner with superior form in these types of events and while Storm Warning does have some splendid form to talk about there was a race on the 18/01/2017 when things did not go so well in this type of race.

This is a Hurdle and one thing I noticed was the recent stats for today’s jockey which shows a 17% strike rate in these type of event which looks agreeable form for this runner.

This looks to be a good race and one in which Storm Warning appears to hold a chance due to the talented form which has been shown in the past and could very well be worth a bet.

Dreamcatching

Dreamcatching is a 4yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So why would Jadwiz give this one an excellent rating and chance of taking the first prize? Well first reason, which may not be apparent to everyone is the fact it has the same piece of headgear which was used when gaining an excellent result at Wincanton in a UK Jumps race.

Today’s jockey is Stan Sheppard who is current enjoying an excellent 50% strike rate when ridding runners out of the sire Al Namix as this one is.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Market Rasen.

The Blue Bomber

The Blue Bomber is a 5yo from the Mick Channon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Lingfield on the 12/12/2015 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but The Blue Bomber ratings look to be unexceptional.

This runner is has an average chance and the stats which demonstrate this best are the sires offspring when racing in Stakes event and over the last twelve months there has been a 7% strike rate.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Kristal Star

Kristal Star is a 5yo from the Alex Hales stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

A recent good run in a Hurdle race could help make our minds up about a runner but the problem we have here is while it did have a run on the 12/03/2017 in a Hurdle event it failed to make the frame.

Overall form for today’s jockey at this time of the year is to be considered below par or ailing due to their low strike rate which is only 5%.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Kristal Star would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Ghostly Arc

Ghostly Arc is a 5yo from the Noel Wilson stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Market Rasen.

Intermediate form over the last twelve months is how things appear to be for Ghostly Arc who is a 5yo out of the sire by the name Arcano, or this is how things look when taking par in Stakes races. Did put in a tolerable run at Musselburgh on the 09/05/2016 when ridden by Barry McHugh but the word average does spring to mind.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Hurdle and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Corbett Court

Corbett Court is a 5yo from the Debra Hamer stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Ffos Las.

Regular or acceptable form is the order of the day for Corbett Court but did not get into the first three recently at Ffos Las in a class 4 to make one of the runners in with a chance.

Intermediate form and stats for the trainer of this runner and this can be seen by taking a look at Debra Hamer strike rate when their horses have been involved in 20f races which shows a tolerable success rate of 8%.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.
