KEMPTON RACECOURSE 5-55 Race Date 07/06/17 | Horse Racing

KEMPTON RACECOURSE FORM

Rayaa

Rayaa is a 4yo from the John Butler stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

So what chance does Rayaa on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Wetherby which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 5 event.

With ailing or below average form and sire stats over today’s race distance indicating the same with only a 6% strike rate this may not be an ideal choice.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Rayaa would be classed as having a below average chance.

Corporal Maddox

Corporal Maddox is a 10yo from the Ronald Harris stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Corporal Maddox did have a good result when carrying 09-09 and finishing 1st on the 09/03/2016 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

This is a 10yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 10yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 10%.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Mezmaar

Mezmaar is a 8yo from the Mark Usher stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Overall form for Mezmaar is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 03/02/2016 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

If we apply a weight range to the 09-03 this runner is set to carry, example a few pounds either way, we can check the sires recent record with its offspring which shows an unproductive 5% strike rate.

The overall form for Mezmaar looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Good Luck Charm

Good Luck Charm is a 8yo from the Gary Moore stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Overall form for Good Luck Charm is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 14/09/2015 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

Overall form for today’s jockey at this time of the year is to be considered below par or ailing due to their low strike rate which is only 6%.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Good Luck Charm would be classed as having a below average chance.

Fairway To Heaven

Fairway To Heaven is a 8yo from the Lee Carter stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

We normally find that horses that have managed to finish 1st as this one did on the 27/08/2016 when wearing the same headgear would have sound claims but that race at Windsor looked to be more of a run of the mill type of event.

Today’s runner is a 8yo and this looks a good place to start when checking the sire stats which over the last twelve months have recorded a 9% strike rate.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Gulland Rock

Gulland Rock is a 6yo from the Anthony Carson stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 7f, one of these races in which this Gelding put in a sterling effort was at Kempton on the 29/03/2017 and finished 1st on that occasion which looked to be notable.

Today’s jockey is Mitch Godwin who is current enjoying an excellent 50% strike rate when ridding runners out of the sire Exceed And Excel as this one is.

With some notable form to its name Gulland Rock looks to be the one to be on for this 7f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Prince Of Time

Prince Of Time Gelding who for this race has Callum Rodriguez on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as *** Error ***

Having the right headgear fitted can sometimes help and with Prince Of Time it certainly appears to be the case and was proved when putting in a commendable recent run by finishing 1st at Southwell when it was fitted with a No Headgear, so looks above average choice for this race.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Believe It

Believe It is a 5yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Stephen Cummins.

So how good is the overall form for Believe It? Well praiseworthy would seem an appropriate word for this above average contender and this was shown in a race when finishing 1st at Lingfield in a 7f race which is the same as today’s distance, so form looks agreeable.

Over the last twelve months jockey Stephen Cummins has been doing a splendid job when competing in 7f events, this valuable form shows a strike rate in the order of 17%.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Bumptious

Bumptious is a 4yo from the Ismail Mohammed stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

So we have a nice recent run over this distance which took place at Yarmouth on GOOD TO FIRM (Go when finishing 2nd, looked an unremarkable type of race but could classed as acceptable.

Will look at the last years stats for the trainer this time with only average sort of mark for runners competing at this race distance things appear set for run of the mill sort of outing here today.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Saleh

Saleh is a 4yo from the Lee Carter stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 7f, one of these races in which this Gelding put in a sterling effort was at Lingfield on the 30/11/2016 and finished 1st on that occasion which looked to be notable.

Taking breeding into account can get us that extra price of information required in which to make a decision and in this case the sire Iffraaj has some outstanding results when Adam Kirby has been ridding, these stats show a 24% strike rate.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Dream Farr

Dream Farr is a 4yo from the Ed Walker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

This is a class 5 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Dream Farr it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Wolverhampton when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 7f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Papou Tony

Papou Tony is a 4yo from the George Baker stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Good recent form is what we are after in a race like this but with Papou Tony this does not look to be the case, in fact its form looks rather discouraging, only spark of light would be that it did fill the 1st spot when wearing the same piece of headgear.

Over the last twelve months things have not been great for Liam Keniry when ridding races over a distance of 7f their strike rate has been below par at 6% and looks discouraging.

With some discouraging results and below par performances this runner would be seen by most as having a less than average chance of taking the first prize here in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

First Experience

First Experience is a 6yo from the Lee Carter stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Kempton.

This is a class 4 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with First Experience it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Sandown when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

We know that First Experience is a 6yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 14%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.
