CARTMEL RACECOURSE 2-50 Race Date 30/06/17 | Horse Racing

CARTMEL RACECOURSE FORM

Classic Palace

Classic Palace is a 8yo from the Dianne Sayer stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

The time of year can help some horses in that they can perform well some months but not so well in others and judging this one on its display in a race at Hexham during this month its overall form might be considered to be modest.

With the weight set to carry today the sire stats show that over the last twelve months there has been a 10% strike when the sires progeny have raced.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Boruma

Boruma is a 7yo from the James Moffatt stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Cartmel when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

We know that Boruma is a 7yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 14%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Minnie Milan

Minnie Milan is a 8yo from the Barbara Butterworth stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

This is a Hurdle race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Huntingdon on the 26/05/2015 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Hurdle race and jockey Sean Quinlan who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 9% has been recorded.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Attention Seaker

Attention Seaker is a 7yo from the Tim Easterby stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

This type of race looks as if suits Attention Seaker who is a 7yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Sedgefield in a Hurdle race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

Skilled runner who has some fine stats where the sire is concerned and especially in Hurdle events where over the last twelve months it has enjoyed a 15% strike rate.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Mondlicht

Mondlicht is a 7yo from the James Moffatt stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 22f, one of these races in which this Gelding put in a sterling effort was at Musselburgh on the 14/11/2016 and finished 1st on that occasion which looked to be notable.

So on to the race type which is a Hurdle and if the trainer has a good recent record in these types of races it would mean we have a nice selection. The stats show that James Moffatt has been recently hitting at strike rate of 24% in these type of events so looks as if we have found an excellent runner with both good form and stats.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Tap Night

Tap Night is a 10yo from the Lucinda Russell stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Overall form shows that Tap Night who is a 10yo has run in Hurdle races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Lucinda Russell yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Tawseef

Tawseef is a 9yo from the Donald McCain stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Glancing at the recent jockey stats in Hurdle races we see today’s jockey does not have a great set of results, in fact it’s a discouraging 5%.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Pink Coat

Pink Coat is a 10yo from the Sam England stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Some runners have a weight range where they can either run well or badly and in the case of Pink Coat today’s weight falls onto the not so good range based on its run at Southwell when it carried 11-12.

Weight has its say in racing the same as other factors and today Pink Coat has 11-12 which is not good considering that over the last twelve months the jockey stats only show a 6% strike when carrying around about this weight.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Munsaab

Munsaab is a 11yo from the James Moffatt stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

We need a runner that is competent in the class of race that it is running and in this case it’s a class 4 which means that Munsaab falls under the category after putting up a fine performance at Cartmel and while not the latest form does display its talent.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Cartmel.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Silver Shuffle

Silver Shuffle is a 10yo from the Dianne Sayer stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

So what chance does Silver Shuffle on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Aintree which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 4 event.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Waltz Darling

Waltz Darling is a 9yo from the Gillian Boanas stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

This particular runner does have some excellent overall form which while not the most recent does still give it an excellent chance, one of these nuggets of form we see is that today’s weight is not to different to the one carried when finishing 1st at Musselburgh on the 07/11/2014 and this could very well be a factor here.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Handicap event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Star Of Namibia

Star Of Namibia is a 7yo from the Michael Mullineaux stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 22f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Bangor-On-Dee when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

This is a Hurdle race and the sires record when its progeny have raced in these type of events over the last twelve months has been 11%.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Rosy Ryan

Rosy Ryan is a 7yo from the Tina Jackson stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Overall form for Rosy Ryan is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 21/07/2015 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Rosy Ryan would be classed as having a below average chance.
