DONCASTER RACECOURSE 5-55 Race Date 01/07/17 | Horse Racing

DONCASTER RACECOURSE FORM

Hanseatic

Hanseatic is a 8yo from the Michael Easterby stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Overall form shows that Hanseatic who is a 8yo has run in Flat races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

So lets just see how the recent trainer stats hold up when they have been entered into 7f events and we can see things have not really be going well with a bush-league strike rate of only 4%.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Johnny Cavagin

Johnny Cavagin is a 8yo from the Ronald Thompson stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Overall form shows that Johnny Cavagin who is a 8yo has run in Flat races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

Has below average form for today’s chosen jockey when Stevie Donohoe has ridden in races over 7f and the recent results show an unproductive 5% strike rate.

The overall form for Johnny Cavagin looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Echo Of Lightning

Echo Of Lightning is a 7yo from the Brian Ellison stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

This is a Flat race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Ayr on the 17/09/2015 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

This is a Flat race and the sires record when its progeny have raced in these type of events over the last twelve months has been 12%.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Dutch Art Dealer

Dutch Art Dealer is a 6yo from the Ivan Furtado stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Some horses are natural born racers while others need a bit of persuading to bring out the best in them and this often comes in the form some type of headgear and if we look back to a race that took place on 16/10/2014 we see it finished 1st with a No Headgear, same as today.

Recent stats can be valuable and beneficial as it lets us know the current state of play and in the case of Dutch Art Dealer we can see that today’s jockey as a strike rate of 17% when competing over 7f.

This looks to be a good race and one in which Dutch Art Dealer appears to hold a chance due to the talented form which has been shown in the past and could very well be worth a bet.

Satchville Flyer

Satchville Flyer is a 6yo from the David Evans stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Overall form shows that Satchville Flyer who is a 6yo has run in Flat races before and has finished well but this form looks substandard and is not the most up to date and may be best to give this one the swerve.

This is a Flat race and one where recent stats for this trainer have not been going to well, in fact they are considered to be insufficient with only a 6% strike rate being recorded.

The overall form for Satchville Flyer looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Merdon Castle

Merdon Castle is a 5yo from the Ruth Carr stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Merdon Castle did have a good result when carrying 09-05 and finishing 1st on the 06/05/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 11%.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Intense Style

Intense Style is a 5yo from the Les Eyre stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

The use of different types of headgear can make a difference to a horses running and this would have been no doubt the case at Doncaster when Intense Style put in a meritorious display when applied with Cheekpieces which is the same as we have here again today, so we are off to an excellent start with this runner.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Handicap event.

King Of Naples

King Of Naples is a 4yo from the James Fanshawe stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

The use of different types of headgear can make a difference to a horses running and this would have been no doubt the case at Redcar when King Of Naples put in a meritorious display when applied with No Headgear which is the same as we have here again today, so we are off to an excellent start with this runner.

With some notable form to its name King Of Naples looks to be the one to be on for this 7f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Tukhoom

Tukhoom is from the Michael Herrington and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Doncaster

Weight can play its part much the same as other factors and having a horse with the right weight makes the form worthy, this is what we have with this runner a splendid performance on the Flat when it carried 09-02 to finish 1st. Some may say that the form is not as new as others in the race but it does show it is adept at carrying this sort of weight.

Doncaster and Michael Herrington is it a good thing? Well the answer would yes based on the fact that it is a left handed course which stats show produced a 16% strike rate over the last year.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Ower Fly

Ower Fly is a 4yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

This is a class 4 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Ower Fly it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Salisbury when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 7f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Art Echo

Art Echo is a 4yo from the John Mackie stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Doncaster.

Another runner who’s form looks to be damaging is Art Echo and the only thing to write home about would be it came 1st in a Flat race, not recently, but was within the last twelve months.

This runner is a 4yo and there is nothing unusual in that except when Connor Beasley has been the jockey, recent stats show a substandard strike rate, so may not be a great choice.

The overall form for Art Echo looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Leapt

Leapt is a 3yo from the Richard Hughes stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 10f race which taking part here at Lingfield.

So we have a Flat race which is being run at Lingfield and Leapt does look one to be in the shake up, however it did not fill one of the first three places when competing in a similar event on the 26/10/2016. Other than that slight imperfection this runners form would be classed as exemplary to take a race like this.

This runner out of the Richard Hughes stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.
