BEVERLEY RACECOURSE 5-45 Race Date 08/07/17 | Horse Racing

BEVERLEY RACECOURSE FORM

Jeany

Jeany is a 3yo from the Bryan Smart stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

The one thing that the form book does show for Jeany is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

So this runner is trained by Bryan Smart and when in charge of the offspring by Kodiac, who is the sire, results over the last twelve months have not been that good producing only a 6% strike rate.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Bryan Smart yard.

Quick Monet

Quick Monet is a 4yo from the Shaun Harris stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

We know Quick Monet is set to carry 09-10 but over the last twelve months the trainers runners when carrying around this weight have only prevailed 5% of the time which is off putting.

The overall form for Quick Monet looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Equiano Springs

Equiano Springs is a 3yo from the Tom Tate stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

The overall form for Equiano Springs shows that there was a race on the 21/06/2017 at Ripon when finishing 2nd that the same piece of headgear was fitted, although I feel that the result on that day was more of what you would call a typical or regular type of an event.

When in Rome do as Romans do and in this case that means only back a runner in a Flat if the trainer has a good record in such event which one does not and appears to be only run of the mill.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Flying Foxy

Flying Foxy is a 3yo from the Michael Wigham stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

A class 5 race at Beverley and while this runners form may not be perfect when racing in class 5 events it does warrant a second look.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Stakes event.

Fille The Force

Fille The Force is a 3yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Regular or acceptable form is the order of the day for Fille The Force but did not get into the first three recently at Doncaster in a class 5 to make one of the runners in with a chance.

The recent stats for Scott Dixon tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Hamriyah

Hamriyah is from the Tim Easterby and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Beverley

A slight concern was cast over this runners ability recently when racing in a class 5 event at Carlisle when it finished out of the first three. That class of race is the same as today’s so you will need to keep that in mind, other than that Jadwiz form ratings would seem to suggest a runner with a fine chance.

Recent stats can be valuable and beneficial as it lets us know the current state of play and in the case of Hamriyah we can see that today’s jockey as a strike rate of 18% when competing over 5f.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Time Continuum

Time Continuum is a 5yo from the Eric Alston stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Is set to carry a similar one as to when racing at Redcar on the 20/06/2015 when it failed to make the first three which makes this runner look inferior to most of the others.

If we note the runners weight we can see its set to carry 09-05 and recently when Eric Alston has had runners that have shouldered around this weight the strike rate has been less than impressive at 4%.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Eric Alston yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Short Work

Short Work is a 4yo from the David O’Meara stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Carlisle.

This is a Flat race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Salisbury on the 01/05/2016 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

The recent stats for David O’Meara tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.
