SANDOWN RACECOURSE FORM

Secret Asset

Secret Asset is a 12yo from the Lisa Williamson stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

So what chance does Secret Asset on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Lingfield which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 5 event.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

John Joiner

John Joiner is a 5yo from the Peter Hedger stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

John Joiner does really look to have some excellent overall form on which to recommend it should be on any short list including when finishing 1st at Windsor on the 20/06/2016, while this may not be the most recent form it was over today’s distance of 5f.

Recently when Franny Norton has ridden a runner with a similar weight as the one they are due to get the leg up on today there has been an excellent strike rate of 29%.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Babyfact

Babyfact is a 6yo from the Malcolm Saunders stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

The race type is often overlooked when studying form but can be a tremendous help, after all we don’t want to be backing horses running in the wrong events. With Babyfact we see that there was a top-notch performance in a Flat race which took place at Bath and while this may not of been the most up to the minute form it does show outstanding ability which can be put to good use here at Sandown today.

Malcolm Saunders running a 6yo recently has produced some outstanding stats which show a current strike rate of 29% which goes well with the runners form for this race.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Sandown.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Very Honest

Very Honest is a 4yo from the Brett Johnson stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

This is a Flat race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Goodwood on the 10/06/2016 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 13%.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Our Lord

Our Lord is a 5yo from the Michael Attwater stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

Taking into account the overall form for Our Lord it would be considered to have a middle of the road chance as there does not seem to be any real factors which stand out. This is a 5f race and ordinary or passable would be the words I would use and it can be seen as more of an each way chance.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 14%.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Madame Bounty

Madame Bounty is a 3yo from the Ed Walker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

We normally find that horses that have managed to finish 1st as this one did on the 05/06/2017 when wearing the same headgear would have sound claims but that race at Windsor looked to be more of a run of the mill type of event.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 13%.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Dr Doro

Dr Doro is a 4yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

Has form which looks to be detrimental and is not one to trust based on the performance it put in on the 18/09/2015 at Ayr in a Flat, which was the same type as today and while not the most recent race overall racing has looked substandard.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Gnaad

Gnaad is a 3yo from the Alan Bailey stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

Some splendid form over today’s race distance of 5f and while the race at Southwell on the 14/03/2017 may not be right up to the minute but it was a praiseworthy ride by Luke Morris on that occasion.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Red Alert

Red Alert is a 3yo from the William Muir stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Sandown.

The one thing that the form book does show for Red Alert is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the William Muir yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Frolic

Frolic is a 2yo from the Sir Mark Prescott Bt stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Thirsk.

Recent form with the right weight is what this one can boast but digging a little deeper we can see that its recent race at Newmarket may not of been as good as first thought and overall form does not seem to be good enough.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE FORM

Ashington

Ashington is a 2yo from the Luca Cumani stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 8f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

There was recently a below average performance over today’s distance when racing at Chelmsford when Jamie Spencer could not get a good enough run to get Ashington into the frame and up to date form looks insufficient.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Rua Augusta

Rua Augusta is a 2yo from the Kevin Ryan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

What makes this runners form admissible is the fact it got a good result recently when racing at Haydock when claiming the 2nd place prize. Had a similar type of weight that day which it is set to carry in this race which gives Rua Augusta on form a modest chance.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 8f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Chilean

Chilean is a 2yo from the Martyn Meade stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Finding a weight that a horse is comfortable with is not an easy task and the problem we have with this runner is that while there is some excellent form it did run an average sort of race recently at Newmarket when carrying a similar weight, put that aside and this would looks to be a tiptop selection.

This runner has a trainer and jockey partnership which recently has been working very well to create a top-notch strike rate of 50% which enhances this ones form.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Stakes event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

To Arms

To Arms is from the John Gosden and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Chelmsford

If we concentrate on the recent form for To Arms we can see there was a race at Yarmouth when it carried 09-02 and finished unplaced and is worth pointing out as its set to carry a similar weight here today.

Course stats can help when looking for a way to narrow the field down and in this case we know that Chelmsford is a unknown track which is good news where the John Gosden runner is concerned as their recent strike rate on these courses is a talented 20%.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Kind Act

Kind Act is a 2yo from the Charlie Appleby stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 8f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Had a recent run at Newmarket when it carried a similar weight when unplaced in a unremarkable race and that about sums things up for this runner, touchstone.

Today’s sire is Distorted Humor and most of its offspring tend to run an ordinary or passable sort of race at this time of the year and achieve a 13% strike rate.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Pavarella Shoes

Pavarella Shoes is a 2yo from the Noel Wilson stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

There was recently a below average performance over today’s distance when racing at Beverley when Patrick Mathers could not get a good enough run to get Pavarella Shoes into the frame and up to date form looks insufficient.

Time for some stats and in this case the trainers record lets us know this runners chances of success here are below average due to the fact that Noel Wilson only has a 6% strike rate in Flat races.

The overall form for Pavarella Shoes looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

CATTERICK RACECOURSE 5-20 Race Date 30/08/17 | Horse Racing

CATTERICK RACECOURSE FORM

Ebitda

Ebitda is a 3yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

So why would Jadwiz give this one an excellent rating and chance of taking the first prize? Well first reason, which may not be apparent to everyone is the fact it has the same piece of headgear which was used when gaining an excellent result at Yarmouth in a UK Flat race.

Looking at recent stats gives an up to date picture of what is happening and in the case of the jockeys record we see that currently over today’s race distance of 5f there is an exceptional 50% strike rate.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Caesar’s Comet

Caesar’s Comet is a 3yo from the Paul Midgley stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Had a recent race at Catterick and managed to get into the first three in a Flat event and looks to have fair form which looks typical for this type of contest.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 12%.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Bronze Beau

Bronze Beau is a 10yo from the Kristin Stubbs stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

So lets have a look at what Bronze Beau has achieved in the last twelve months and one of the better ones was in a Flat race at Redcar when achieving a satisfactory 1st place. Shane Gray rode a fair and passable race for Kristin Stubbs on that occasion and one would expect another up to scratch type of performance.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Foxtrot Knight

Foxtrot Knight is a 5yo from the Ruth Carr stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Windsor on the 08/06/2015 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Foxtrot Knight ratings look to be unexceptional.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Tan

Tan is a 3yo from the Tony Coyle stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Put in a bush-league type of performance when recently racing at Carlisle with the same piece of headgear which Tan is set to wear again for this event which does not look to good.

Sometimes a trainers record can indicate things that are not always evident when looking or reading through the runners form and one of these is that Tony Coyle has only successfully make the winners enclosure 6% of the time with a 3yo runner over the year, which is below average.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Tony Coyle yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Penny Dreadful

Penny Dreadful is a 5yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Penny Dreadful ran at Catterick, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

This is a Flat race and one where recent stats for this trainer have not been going to well, in fact they are considered to be insufficient with only a 4% strike rate being recorded.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Scott Dixon yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Wild Approach

Wild Approach is from the Robert Cowell and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Catterick

Some splendid form over today’s race distance of 5f and while the race at Southwell on the 19/01/2017 may not be right up to the minute but it was a praiseworthy ride by Joe Fanning on that occasion.

Sire stats now and recent ones show a fine 17% strike rate when running in Flat event which us some above average form and stats.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Mininggold

Mininggold is a 4yo from the Michael Dods stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Mininggold ran at Catterick, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Course rotation at Catterick is left handed and checking the overall trainer stats reveals a deficient strike rate of only 4%.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Crosse Fire

Crosse Fire is a 5yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

The one thing that the form book does show for Crosse Fire is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Landing Night

Landing Night is a 5yo from the Rebecca Menzies stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Catterick.

Landing Night did have a good result when carrying 08-13 and finishing 1st on the 08/01/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 12%.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Bapak Asmara

Bapak Asmara is a 5yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Kevin Stott.

This type of race looks as if suits Bapak Asmara who is a 5yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Haydock in a Flat race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

So which way do the offspring from Zebedee, this runners sire like to go? Well judging from recent results a left handed course appear to be no problem as there is a 20% strike rate.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Prince Kup

Prince Kup is a 6yo from the Laura Hurley stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 23f race which taking part here at Worcester.

Twelve month form does look to be ailing with some below par efforts put in and one of these off putting displays was at Southwell in a Hurdle race the same as encountered here which does not go to well with a below average rating.

The overall form for Prince Kup looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

EPSOM RACECOURSE FORM

Another Day Of Sun

Another Day Of Sun is a 2yo from the Mick Channon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Thirsk when it carried 09-00 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

A substandard recent strike rate of only 6% for this trainers runners when competing over today’s distance looks to be off putting.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Another Day Of Sun would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Hard Graft

Hard Graft is a 2yo from the David Brown stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

No Headgear is fitted for this race and while it has worn this before results have not always gone the right way, one of these races was when unplaced at Haydock when ridden by Sean Levey on the 26/05/2017.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 7f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Seaella

Seaella Filly who for this race has Jason Hart on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good

This is a Flat race where over the last twelve months Seaella has shown some valuable form and looked a skilled operator when finishing 1st in a race at York on the 16/06/2017 and although this is not what would be called very recent it is still worth considering.

Overall form for this time of the year can be used when studying form and in the case of trainer John Quinn we find that the words fine and dexterous spring to mind when noting the 16% strike rate.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Diamond Pursuit

Diamond Pursuit is a 2yo from the Jo Hughes stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

So lets have a look at what Diamond Pursuit has achieved in the last twelve months and one of the better ones was in a Flat race at Brighton when achieving a satisfactory 1st place. J F Egan rode a fair and passable race for Jo Hughes on that occasion and one would expect another up to scratch type of performance.

The recent stats for Jo Hughes tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Lexington Grace

Lexington Grace is a 2yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

The one thing that the form book does show for Lexington Grace is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

Tom Marquand ridding on a left handed over the last twelve months has not seen great results, these below average stats show only a 5% strike rate.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Panophobia

Panophobia is a 2yo from the Richard Fahey stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

Form for the runner is recent and also has the advantage that its run at Musselburgh was the same type of race which give us an exquisite start to our fact finding mission and see no reason why Adam McNamara could keep this one out of a place.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Ruysch

Ruysch is a 2yo from the Ed Dunlop stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

Had a recent race at Newmarket and managed to get into the first three in a Flat event and looks to have fair form which looks typical for this type of contest.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 13%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Viceroy Mac is a 2yo from the David Loughnane stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 7f race which taking part here at Epsom.

So why would Jadwiz give this one an excellent rating and chance of taking the first prize? Well first reason, which may not be apparent to everyone is the fact it has the same piece of headgear which was used when gaining an excellent result at Haydock in a UK Flat race.

With some notable form to its name Viceroy Mac looks to be the one to be on for this 7f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Enrolment

Enrolment is a 2yo from the Richard Fahey stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Ripon.

The recent stats for Richard Fahey tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

The one thing that the form book does show for Everlasting Sea is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

Cheekpieces is fitted for this race and while it has worn this before results have not always gone the right way, one of these races was when unplaced at Brighton when ridden by Steve Drowne on the 12/09/2016.

The recent results of the offspring from the sire shows that when its offspring have raced with approximately this weight there is a 14% strike rate which is a regular set of stats.

Murchison River is a 3yo from the Henry Candy stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Regular or acceptable form is the order of the day for Murchison River but did not get into the first three recently at Bath in a class 6 to make one of the runners in with a chance.

The recent stats for Henry Candy tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a 8yo from the Brian Barr stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Southwell on the 12/05/2015 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Bohemian Rhapsody ratings look to be unexceptional.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 14%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Mitch Godwin who is today’s jockey has some insufficient recent stats which show when ridding runners carrying a weight in the region of today’s their strike rate has only been a substandard 6%.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Flannery would be classed as having a below average chance.

This should be one of the leading horses in this race and has some excellent to speak of over the last twelve month including when putting in meritorious display when taking part in an event at Nottingham when this Gelding with the assistance of Jack Duern got itself to finish 1st, that was a Flat race and another excellent run would be expected here today.

Looking through the recent stats for the sire one thing which stands out are the results for a left handed course which are excellent and show a 100% strike rate.

With some notable form to its name Incredible Dream looks to be the one to be on for this 12f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Selena Rose

Selena Rose is a 4yo from the Ronald Harris stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

A recent good run in a Flat race could help make our minds up about a runner but the problem we have here is while it did have a run on the 23/08/2017 in a Flat event it failed to make the frame.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Powered

Powered is a 4yo from the David Evans stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

This should be one of the leading horses in this race and has some excellent to speak of over the last twelve month including when putting in meritorious display when taking part in an event at Windsor when this Gelding with the assistance of Keelan Baker got itself to finish 1st, that was a Flat race and another excellent run would be expected here today.

Would appear to have an outstanding chance is this race and form suggests a bet could very well be in order for this runner who looks first rate.

Grams And Ounces

Grams And Ounces Gelding who for this race has Timmy Murphy on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Good

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runner looks to have an above average chance in this event and with its superior and dexterous form Grams And Ounces looks to be one of the main competitors for this race.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Eastern Lady

Eastern Lady is a 4yo from the Richard Price stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Had a recent run at Nottingham when it carried a similar weight when unplaced in a unremarkable race and that about sums things up for this runner, touchstone.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Casaclare

Casaclare is from the Jonjo O’Neill and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Chepstow

One of the things that came to light when looking through the form for this runner was today’s weight of 09-00 which is very similar to the weight carried on the 05/09/2016 when finishing 3rd and would look to have an above average chance for this event.

Sire stats now and recent ones show a fine 15% strike rate when running in Flat event which us some above average form and stats.

Capable of putting in a superior run here and while this one is not at the very top it does have some praiseworthy form to its name which means it would at least be worthy candidate for a short list.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

St Andrews

St Andrews is a 4yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 12f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Chepstow when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Brave Spartacus

Brave Spartacus is a 11yo from the Gillian Boanas stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 21f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Brave Spartacus we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 3 race at Newcastle a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

This runner has average looking form along with the trainer who over the last year has recorded a basic strike rate when their runners have carried around the same weight as this one.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

BEVERLEY RACECOURSE 5-55 Race Date 27/08/17 | Horse Racing

BEVERLEY RACECOURSE FORM

Lozah

Lozah is a 4yo from the Roger Fell stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Lozah the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Newcastle on the 29/11/2016 it carried 09-03 to fill the 1st spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

We know that Lozah is a 4yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 9%.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Chauvelin

Chauvelin is a 6yo from the Nigel Tinkler stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Chauvelin. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 09/01/2015 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

Over the last twelve months things have not been great for Tom Eaves when ridding races over a distance of 9f their strike rate has been below par at 6% and looks discouraging.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Arcane Dancer

Arcane Dancer is a 4yo from the Lawrence Mullaney stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Sometimes headgear can make a difference but if we judge things on its outing at Beverley on the 26/07/2016 its form on that occasion would be described as fair, ok may not be the most recent form but Arcane Dancer ratings look to be unexceptional.

The recent stats for Lawrence Mullaney tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Mr C

Mr C is a 3yo from the Ollie Pears stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So why would Jadwiz give this one an excellent rating and chance of taking the first prize? Well first reason, which may not be apparent to everyone is the fact it has the same piece of headgear which was used when gaining an excellent result at Pontefract in a UK Flat race.

With some notable form to its name Mr C looks to be the one to be on for this 9f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Outlaw Torn

Outlaw Torn is a 8yo from the Richard Guest stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

None recent form is not always ideal and this is probably the best way of looking at a race that Outlaw Torn took part in on the 11/08/2016 when finishing 1st, ok so the race took place in the month of the year which could been its about to hit top form again but with a below average Jadwiz rating this one does look to be below par.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Richard Guest yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Trinity Star

Trinity Star is a 6yo from the Michael Dods stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Trinity Star is one of the runners here that takes the eye with some outstanding performances to its name most notable of these I feel was when finishing 1st at Redcar in a class 6 event the same as today’s which gets us off to a admirable start with our form studying.

Michael Dods running a 6yo recently has produced some outstanding stats which show a current strike rate of 22% which goes well with the runners form for this race.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Getgo

Getgo is a 3yo from the David Lanigan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

So lets have a look at what Getgo has achieved in the last twelve months and one of the better ones was in a Flat race at Brighton when achieving a satisfactory 1st place. Shane Kelly rode a fair and passable race for David Lanigan on that occasion and one would expect another up to scratch type of performance.

The recent stats for David Lanigan tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Pontecarlo Boy

Pontecarlo Boy is a 3yo from the Richard Whitaker stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 9f race which taking part here at Beverley.

Has form which looks to be detrimental and is not one to trust based on the performance it put in on the 22/07/2016 at York in a Flat, which was the same type as today and while not the most recent race overall racing has looked substandard.

Pontecarlo Boy is a 3yo and if we check the trainers overall record we can see some discouraging stats for their 3yo runners which currently stands around a strike rate of 6%.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Pioneering

Pioneering is from the David O’Meara and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Beverley

Having the right headgear fitted can sometimes help and with Pioneering it certainly appears to be the case and was proved when putting in a commendable recent run by finishing 2nd at Hamilton when it was fitted with a No Headgear, so looks above average choice for this race.

A 3yo runner out of the David O’Meara yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 16% strike rate.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

CARTMEL RACECOURSE 2-15 Race Date 26/08/17 | Horse Racing

CARTMEL RACECOURSE FORM

Minella Voucher

Minella Voucher is a 6yo from the Alexandra Dunn stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 17f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Put in a bush-league type of performance when recently racing at Worcester with the same piece of headgear which Minella Voucher is set to wear again for this event which does not look to good.

Weight has its say in racing the same as other factors and today Minella Voucher has 10-12 which is not good considering that over the last twelve months the jockey stats only show a 6% strike when carrying around about this weight.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Alexandra Dunn yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Knockmaole Boy

Knockmaole Boy is a 5yo from the Gordon Elliott stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Form for the runner is recent and also has the advantage that its run at Perth was the same type of race which give us an exquisite start to our fact finding mission and see no reason why Richard Johnson could keep this one out of a place.

So on to the race type which is a Hurdle and if the trainer has a good recent record in these types of races it would mean we have a nice selection. The stats show that Gordon Elliott has been recently hitting at strike rate of 27% in these type of events so looks as if we have found an excellent runner with both good form and stats.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Nailer

Nailer is a 7yo who looks to have some fine form for this Stakes race and today is ridden by Dale Irving.

Nailer runs in a class 4 race here today and while this Gelding looks an accomplished type there was a class 4 event in which it took part in when failed to make the first, ok so not bang up to date form but worth noting.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Pershing

Pershing is a 6yo from the Kevin Frost stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 17f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

What makes this runners form admissible is the fact it got a good result recently when racing at Southwell when claiming the 1st place prize. Had a similar type of weight that day which it is set to carry in this race which gives Pershing on form a modest chance.

This is a 6yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 6yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 9%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Parole

Parole is a 5yo from the Tim Easterby stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 17f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Parole ran at Nottingham, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Golden Town

Golden Town is a 6yo from the James Moffatt stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 17f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

We have looked at form and now move on to the recent stats for runners out of the sire when runner on a left handed course which an average strike rate in the order of 12%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Golden Jeffrey

Golden Jeffrey is a 4yo from the Iain Jardine stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 17f race which taking part here at Cartmel.

This runner would appear to be one of the top selections for this race based on a race it ran in at Ayr on the 27/02/2017 when ridden by Mr Alex Ferguson, finished 1st in that event and with the same piece of headgear on again today looks to be an added bonus.

A sires stats can vary over different race conditions and in these type of event we can see a exemplary set of results over the last twelve months, these stats add up to give us a runner with a notable chance.

This runner out of the Iain Jardine stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Dominating

Dominating is a 3yo from the Mark Johnston stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 13f race which taking part here at York.

We normally find that horses that have managed to finish 1st as this one did on the 16/06/2017 when wearing the same headgear would have sound claims but that race at Sandown looked to be more of a run of the mill type of event.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.
