LEICESTER RACECOURSE 5-55 Race Date 02/08/17 | Horse Racing

LEICESTER RACECOURSE FORM

Viceroy Mac

Viceroy Mac is a 2yo from the David Loughnane stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So why would Jadwiz give this one an excellent rating and chance of taking the first prize? Well first reason, which may not be apparent to everyone is the fact it has the same piece of headgear which was used when gaining an excellent result at Haydock in a UK Flat race.

At this time of the year we can usually expect some tiptop form to emerge from the David Loughnane stable, stats show that over time there has been a 23% strike rate.

With some notable form to its name Viceroy Mac looks to be the one to be on for this 6f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Authentic Art

Authentic Art is a 2yo from the Ralph Beckett stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Chilean

Chilean is a 2yo from the Martyn Meade stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Enzo

Enzo is a 2yo from the Ed Walker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This is a 2yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 2yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 14%.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Yafta

Yafta is a 2yo who looks to have some fine form for this Stakes race and today is ridden by Dane O’Neill.

Finding the right weight range for a horse could be the key in this race and Yafta looks to be in the zone having put in a praiseworthy display recently at Newmarket when it carried 09-02 to finish a worthy 2nd.

This is a Flat and one thing I noticed was the recent stats for today’s jockey which shows a 17% strike rate in these type of event which looks agreeable form for this runner.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Ghayadh

Ghayadh is a 2yo from the Hugo Palmer stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

Some horses can handle carrying large loads while other can’t so if we can find an excellent recent run where there were similar weights were involved it would be an valuable extra bonus and in this case we need to look no further than its outing at Beverley when placed 1st.

Ghayadh is a 2yo and runners who are out of the sire Kyllachy are currently hitting a strike rate of 28%.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Kodiac Express

Kodiac Express is a 2yo from the Mike Murphy stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

So we have a nice recent run over this distance which took place at Bath on FIRM when finishing 2nd, looked an unremarkable type of race but could classed as acceptable.

The recent stats for Mike Murphy tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Amandine

Amandine is a 2yo from the David Elsworth stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Leicester.

First thing I noticed when looking at its recent form was a race at Newmarket when it worn the same piece of headgear, on that occasion it did show enough to suggest it can be winning here.

The recent stats for David Elsworth tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Dylan’s Storm

Dylan’s Storm is a 5yo from the Peter Niven stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Redcar.

This is a Flat race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Brighton on the 23/06/2015 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 12%.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.
