HAYDOCK RACECOURSE 1-50 Race Date 10/08/17 | Horse Racing

HAYDOCK RACECOURSE FORM

Daily Trader

Daily Trader is a 3yo from the David Evans stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

What form does Daily Trader have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 01/03/2017 when it finished 1st. On that day it was racing over 10f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 8%.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Punkawallah

Punkawallah is a 3yo from the Tom Dascombe stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

So you are looking for a runner with excellent recent form, if that’s the case then Punkawallah fits the bill with its top-notch display at Haydock over 10f when it got the 1st prize of £4k for the Tom Dascombe stable.

Moving onto the recent trainer stats and these look excellent for today’s race distance of 10f and with a sterling strike rate of 38% this runner looks top-notch.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Strummer

Strummer is a 4yo from the Kevin Ryan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Looking for something different then Strummer could be the one, it has what could be called middle of the road form but does have the advantage of finishing 1st at Wolverhampton which is a left handed course the same as Haydock.

The recent results of the offspring from the sire shows that when its offspring have raced with approximately this weight there is a 8% strike rate which is a regular set of stats.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Bishop Of Bling

Bishop Of Bling is from the Chris Wall and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Haydock

While recent form is probably preferred it may not always be there but by looking back over the last twelve months we can see a good example of what Bishop Of Bling is capable when racing in a class 5 event. This good example came at Southwell on the 08/05/2017 when it filled the 3rd spot.

With this race taking part on a left handed course we need to know if these conditions will suit the runner and in the case of Bishop Of Bling we know the trainer is Chris Wall who has a superior strike rate of 16% when they have entered runners to race in this direction.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Haydock.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Paddy’s Rock

Paddy’s Rock is a 6yo from the Lynn Siddall stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

None recent form is not always ideal and this is probably the best way of looking at a race that Paddy’s Rock took part in on the 28/08/2014 when finishing 1st, ok so the race took place in the month of the year which could been its about to hit top form again but with a below average Jadwiz rating this one does look to be below par.

Now for stats and these appear to be detrimental, at least when the sires offspring have been entered into Flat races, over the last twelve months it has only record an inferior strike rate of 5%.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Dream Free

Dream Free is a 4yo from the Mark Walford stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Some runners can be out of their depth or running races well below what they are capable of which is not usually a good sign but with Dream Free we see some first rate form in the shape of an outing on the 31/05/2017 when placed 3rd, that looked an excellent class 5 race so a prime example of a worth selection for today’s event.

With some notable form to its name Dream Free looks to be the one to be on for this 10f event and I can see no reason as to why this would not have a excellent chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Indian Chief

Indian Chief is a 7yo from the Rebecca Bastiman stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Had a recent race at Beverley and managed to get into the first three in a Flat event and looks to have fair form which looks typical for this type of contest.

The recent stats for Rebecca Bastiman tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Polar Forest

Polar Forest is a 7yo from the Richard Guest stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Overall form for Polar Forest is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 08/10/2014 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Shambra

Shambra is a 3yo from the Roger Fell stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Haydock.

So lets have a look at what Shambra has achieved in the last twelve months and one of the better ones was in a Flat race at Redcar when achieving a satisfactory 1st place. Silvestre De Sousa rode a fair and passable race for Roger Fell on that occasion and one would expect another up to scratch type of performance.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Doctor Bong

Doctor Bong is a 5yo from the Grace Harris stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Brighton.

Doctor Bong did have a good result when carrying 09-03 and finishing 1st on the 27/06/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.
