HAYDOCK RACECOURSE 5-40 Race Date 11/08/17 | Horse Racing

HAYDOCK RACECOURSE FORM

Omotesando

Omotesando is from the Oliver Greenall and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Haydock

This type of race looks as if suits Omotesando who is a 7yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Haydock in a Flat race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

So lets take a look at the stats for Megan Nicholls who is today’s jockey and we can see some above average results when racing over 11f and this 20% strike rate would seem to be praiseworthy.

A accomplished competitor for an event like this and also one who appears to have a chance, not top rated but then again not to far away and when you through in its splendid form it all adds up to a worthy participant.

Angelical

Angelical is a 4yo from the Daniel Mark Loughnane stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

This should be one of the leading horses in this race and has some excellent to speak of over the last twelve month including when putting in meritorious display when taking part in an event at Leicester when this Filly with the assistance of David Egan got itself to finish 1st, that was a Flat race and another excellent run would be expected here today.

With some tiptop form this notable runner form the Daniel Mark Loughnane stable would be high on anyone’s list and appears to be one of the main contenders in this event.

Gold Merlion

Gold Merlion is a 4yo from the Mark Johnston stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Gold Merlion did have a good result when carrying 09-00 and finishing 1st on the 24/07/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Flat and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Up Ten Down Two

Up Ten Down Two is a 8yo from the Michael Easterby stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Newcastle when it carried 09-05 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

If we note the runners weight we can see its set to carry 09-06 and recently when Michael Easterby has had runners that have shouldered around this weight the strike rate has been less than impressive at 5%.

The overall form for Up Ten Down Two looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Hurricane Hollow

Hurricane Hollow is a 7yo from the David Barron stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Hurricane Hollow we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 5 race at Hexham a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

On the cards here is a Flat race and recent results show that the sire for this runner has produced offspring that have gained some middle of the road results, at the moment the strike rate is 8%.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Almutamarred

Almutamarred is a 5yo from the David Brown stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Below par form is what this runner looks to have and not one to have great faith, however did demonstrate a liking for a class 5 race when filling the 1st spot in a race at Newcastle on the 26/08/2016.

So the course direction for Haydock is left handed and over the last twelve months the sire stats for this type of track is below average with only a 4% strike rate.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Auxiliary

Auxiliary is from the Patrick Holmes and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Haydock

This type of race looks as if suits Auxiliary who is a 4yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Chester in a Flat race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

Capable of putting in a superior run here and while this one is not at the very top it does have some praiseworthy form to its name which means it would at least be worthy candidate for a short list.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Donnachies Girl

Donnachies Girl is a 4yo from the Alistair Whillans stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Invictus

Invictus is a 5yo from the David Loughnane stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

One of the things about recent form is that it helps that the races are both the same and in the case of Invictus I can tell you that the tiptop display at Leicester in a class 5 which took place on the 27/06/2017 was the same class as today’s, so appears to have a notable chance here.

At this time of the year we can usually expect some tiptop form to emerge from the David Loughnane stable, stats show that over time there has been a 23% strike rate.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Handicap event.

Lady Natasha

Lady Natasha is a 4yo from the K R Burke stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 11f race which taking part here at Haydock.

This is a class 5 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Lady Natasha it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Doncaster when finishing 2nd but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

The recent stats for K R Burke tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Red Snapper

Red Snapper is a 2yo from the William Stone stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Newmarket.

A tolerable yet undistinguished runner who’s form when racing with around this weight may not be perfect and an example would be when it competed at Brighton on the 03/05/2017 and finished unplaced when carrying a weight of 08-08, which was not to dissimilar to the one it has today.

The recent stats for William Stone tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.
