MUSSELBURGH RACECOURSE FORM

Tawseef

Tawseef is a 9yo from the Donald McCain stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

The one thing that the form book does show for Tawseef is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

Now for stats and these appear to be detrimental, at least when the sires offspring have been entered into Flat races, over the last twelve months it has only record an inferior strike rate of 6%.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Tectonic

Tectonic is a 8yo from the Keith Dalgleish stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 15f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

This type of race looks as if suits Tectonic who is a 8yo and has run some splendid races on which to recommend it can be added to a short list including at Ayr in a Flat race, not the most current form but would described as commendable.

A 8yo runner out of the Keith Dalgleish yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 15% strike rate.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Chebsey Beau

Chebsey Beau is a 7yo from the John Quinn stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The use of different types of headgear can make a difference to a horses running and this would have been no doubt the case at Towcester when Chebsey Beau put in a meritorious display when applied with No Headgear which is the same as we have here again today, so we are off to an excellent start with this runner.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to John Quinn having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Gold Chain

Gold Chain is a 7yo from the Dianne Sayer stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Gold Chain we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 5 race at Cartmel a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Down Time

Down Time is a 7yo from the Paul Midgley stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Down Time is one of the runners here that takes the eye with some outstanding performances to its name most notable of these I feel was when finishing 1st at Newton Abbot in a class 5 event the same as today’s which gets us off to a admirable start with our form studying.

With some tiptop form this notable runner form the Paul Midgley stable would be high on anyone’s list and appears to be one of the main contenders in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

La Bacouetteuse

La Bacouetteuse is a 12yo from the Iain Jardine stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 15f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

So what chance does La Bacouetteuse on its overall form? Well ailing would be how its form could be described with only one small glimmer of light being its race at Ayr which while not recent it did manage to finish 1st in that class 5 event.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Jonny Delta

Jonny Delta is a 10yo from the Jim Goldie stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 15f race which taking part here at Musselburgh.

Had a recent race at Musselburgh and managed to get into the first three in a Flat event and looks to have fair form which looks typical for this type of contest.

So moving on a bit and a quick mention about this Flat race and jockey Miss C Walton who in these types of races over the last twelve months has not performed with finesse, only an average looking strike rate of 10% has been recorded.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Ciaoadiosimdone

Ciaoadiosimdone is a 3yo from the John Ryan stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So a Flat on the cards here and this is the same as what Ciaoadiosimdone encountered recently at Newmarket when finishing out of the first three. Not a good start you may say but overall this runner does look to have a far better chance here today for this event and I would not worry to much about that unplaced effort.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Windsor.

CHEPSTOW RACECOURSE FORM

Coolanly

Coolanly is a 5yo from the Fergal O’Brien stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

River Bray

River Bray is a 4yo from the Victor Dartnall stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Over the past year River Bray appears to have delivered some ordinary results including an unplaced effort at Kempton on the 10/02/2017 when unplaced and makes this ones form look run of the mill.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Drovers Lane

Drovers Lane is a 5yo from the Rebecca Curtis stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

A 5yo runner out of the Rebecca Curtis yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 17% strike rate.

This looks to be a good race and one in which Drovers Lane appears to hold a chance due to the talented form which has been shown in the past and could very well be worth a bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Fortunes Hiding

Fortunes Hiding is a 4yo from the Peter Bowen stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

With some bush-league performances and a below par rating I don’t think this one should be on many short lists and would not think the winners prize will be going back to the Peter Bowen yard.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Khage

Khage is a 4yo from the Jonjo O’Neill stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

We know that Khage is a 4yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 12%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Luckime

Luckime is a 5yo from the Venetia Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Luckime the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Carlisle on the 05/04/2017 it carried 11-02 to fill the 2nd spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

Twelve month stats for the trainer are adequate for this age of runner and while not outstanding with a 10% strike rate may still be good enough to get Luckime a place.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

The Russian Doyen

The Russian Doyen is a 4yo from the Colin Tizzard stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runner is a 4yo which means when looking at the sire stats we can see a detrimental strike rate of only 5% for the offspring who race as a 4yo.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Golden Whisky

Golden Whisky is a 4yo from the Evan Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

The trainer of this runner does not have any outstanding recent results when their runners have carried a weight near what this one is set to lump around here today and stats appear to be intermediate.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Mont Des Avaloirs

Mont Des Avaloirs is a 4yo from the Paul Nicholls stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Over the last twelve months I can see some excellent form on which to recommend this runner especially over today’s distance of 16f, one of these races in which this Gelding put in a sterling effort was at Chepstow on the 08/04/2017 and finished 2nd on that occasion which looked to be notable.

This runner has a trainer and jockey partnership which recently has been working very well to create a top-notch strike rate of 50% which enhances this ones form.

This runner out of the Paul Nicholls stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

One Leader

One Leader is a 6yo from the Tim Vaughan stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This runner is a 6yo and recent results for today’s jockey show an impressive strike rate of 23% when in charge of runners of this age.

The conclusion for this runner is that it could safely be added to any short list and could very well be the top selection to land the first prize here.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

The Final Whistle

The Final Whistle is a 4yo from the Sheila Lewis stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 16f race which taking part here at Chepstow.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Quickly onto the race distance and one thing we find is some adequate results over the last twelve month for Jack Sherwood, which while not great would give it a passable chance.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Mahlermade

Mahlermade is from the Alan King and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Chepstow

This one looks an efficient type for this type of race with possibly a single question mark and would be its run on the 01/04/2017 at Stratford when running over today’s distance. Run may not of been as expected in that it failed to finish in the first three, other than that looks competent.

A 4yo runner out of the Alan King yard and the stats show over the last year the trainer has done well with these and recorded a 19% strike rate.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

KEMPTON RACECOURSE 8-55 Race Date 11/10/17 | Horse Racing

October 10, 2017 Leave a comment

KEMPTON RACECOURSE FORM

Breathoffreshair

Breathoffreshair is a 3yo from the Richard Guest stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Over the last twelve months I would say the form for Breathoffreshair would not be good enough to take this race as there was a below average performance put in on the 04/11/2016 when unplaced over today’s distance. Ok so this may not be the most recent of form but does look a valid reason why this runner should be passed over in favour of others.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Stringybark Creek

Stringybark Creek is a 3yo from the Daniel Steele stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The use of different types of headgear can make a difference to a horses running and this would have been no doubt the case at Kempton when Stringybark Creek put in a meritorious display when applied with No Headgear which is the same as we have here again today, so we are off to an excellent start with this runner.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Handicap event.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Solitary Sister

Solitary Sister is a 3yo from the Richard Spencer stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Brighton when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

We know that Solitary Sister is a 3yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 7%.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Prince Jai

Prince Jai is a 4yo from the Ian Williams stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

So we have a nice recent run over this distance which took place at Chelmsford on POLYTRACK: STAND when finishing 1st, looked an unremarkable type of race but could classed as acceptable.

So for this runner lets have a look at the recent trainer record when their horses have been selected to run over 7f and with only an average set of results there will be others more suited.

Moving onto the conclusion for this runner and with only what could be described as acceptable or tolerable form this one can just be given an average chance here for this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Below Average

Knight Of The Air

Knight Of The Air is a 5yo from the Joseph Tuite stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Knight Of The Air we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 6 race at Bath a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

We know that Knight Of The Air is a 5yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 14%.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Magic Mirror

Magic Mirror is a 4yo from the Mark Rimell stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

While recent form is probably preferred it may not always be there but by looking back over the last twelve months we can see a good example of what Magic Mirror is capable when racing in a class 6 event. This good example came at Kempton on the 18/01/2017 when it filled the 1st spot.

Twelve month stats can be useful as it shows that there has been a consistant level of form over a longer period and this is what we can see for Mark Rimell when there runners have been entered into 7f races. These results have been splendid to say the least and have a success rate in the region of 17% which adds weight to the overall form.

With splendid form this runner is rated amongst the top contenders for the honours here at Kempton today and appears to be very capable of at least making the frame in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Locommotion

Locommotion is a 5yo from the Matthew Salaman stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

What form does Locommotion have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 29/03/2017 when it finished 1st. On that day it was racing over 7f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

Will look at the last years stats for the trainer this time with only average sort of mark for runners competing at this race distance things appear set for run of the mill sort of outing here today.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Whaleweigh Station

Whaleweigh Station is a 6yo from the J R Jenkins stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

To win a race everything needs to drop right or at least have something that on which a runner could be recommended and in the case of Whaleweigh Station the one thing it does have in its favour is the weight. When it raced at Kempton on the 28/01/2017 it carried 09-09 to fill the 1st spot which was a similar weight as today and looks adequate.

This runner is a 6yo and the trainers record with horses that race at this age is not great nor is it bad but can be called middle of the road.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Aye Aye Skipper

Aye Aye Skipper is a 7yo from the Ken Cunningham-Brown stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Below par form is what this runner looks to have and not one to have great faith, however did demonstrate a liking for a class 6 race when filling the 1st spot in a race at Bath on the 17/06/2017.

A substandard strike rate is on offer here when looking at the weight carried by runners out of the sire Captain Marvelous which lets us know that there is only an overall strike rate of 6%.

With some discouraging results and below par performances this runner would be seen by most as having a less than average chance of taking the first prize here in this event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

New Rich

New Rich is a 7yo from the Eve Johnson Houghton stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

New Rich is one of the runners here that takes the eye with some outstanding performances to its name most notable of these I feel was when finishing 1st at Chelmsford in a class 6 event the same as today’s which gets us off to a admirable start with our form studying.

This runner out of the Eve Johnson Houghton stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Ambuscade

Ambuscade is a 4yo from the Neil Mulholland stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

This runners has roughly the same weight as when racing at Lingfield on the 19/11/2015 and while that is not the most up to date form the performance was not great either and goes down as one with only a moderate chance.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case Liam Keniry recent success rate is only an average looking 9% for a 4yo.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Stragar

Stragar is a 3yo from the Michael Appleby stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Over the last twelve months I would say the form for Stragar would not be good enough to take this race as there was a below average performance put in on the 25/03/2017 when unplaced over today’s distance. Ok so this may not be the most recent of form but does look a valid reason why this runner should be passed over in favour of others.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Chough

Chough Filly who for this race has Robert Winston on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as *** Error ***

One of the things that came to light when looking through the form for this runner was today’s weight of 09-04 which is very similar to the weight carried on the 07/08/2017 when finishing 2nd and would look to have an above average chance for this event.

So we have a runner who is a 3yo and by looking at today’s jockey results over the last twelve months we see a splendid strike rate of 15% when runners of this age.

An accomplished looking runner who looks capable of landing a race like this, it has the form and ratings suggest that its not to far from the top which all adds up to make this a worthy entrant.

KELSO RACECOURSE 5-20 Race Date 08/10/17 | Horse Racing

October 7, 2017 Leave a comment

KELSO RACECOURSE FORM

The Last Leg

The Last Leg is from the Alison Hamilton and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Kelso

Some horses are natural born racers while others need a bit of persuading to bring out the best in them and this often comes in the form some type of headgear and if we look back to a race that took place on 17/09/2014 we see it finished 3rd with a No Headgear, same as today.

Overall form for this time of the year can be used when studying form and in the case of trainer Alison Hamilton we find that the words fine and dexterous spring to mind when noting the 17% strike rate.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Alison Hamilton with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Cully Mac

Cully Mac is a 6yo from the Andrew Wilson stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

This runners has roughly the same weight as when racing at Kelso on the 18/02/2016 and while that is not the most up to date form the performance was not great either and goes down as one with only a moderate chance.

Some sires produce offspring that develop early and there for have good strikes when young, in the case of Coroner who is today’s sire we can see results that would be classed as ordinary when the runner is a 6yo.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Jewellery

Jewellery is a 10yo from the Katie Scott stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

This is a Hurdle race and although it has run in these type of races in the past and even managed to be placed 1st at Fontwell on the 14/08/2014 its overall form is more what you would call guideline.

Jewellery has been allocated a weight of 10-00 which does not go well with the jockey who over the last twelve month has only recorded a 9% strike rate when ridding horses carrying around about this weight.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Benny’s Secret

Benny’s Secret is a 7yo from the N W Alexander stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

Benny’s Secret did have a good result when carrying 11-00 and finishing 1st on the 21/03/2016 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Twelve month stats for the trainer are adequate for this age of runner and while not outstanding with a 7% strike rate may still be good enough to get Benny’s Secret a place.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Topham Bay

Topham Bay is from the Lucinda Russell and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Kelso

This is a Hurdle race where over the last twelve months Topham Bay has shown some valuable form and looked a skilled operator when finishing 2nd in a race at Hexham on the 16/03/2017 and although this is not what would be called very recent it is still worth considering.

Looking at this runners weight and checking it against the sires current strike rate shows 17% of runners are hitting the right spot.

This runner looks to have an above average chance in this event and with its superior and dexterous form Topham Bay looks to be one of the main competitors for this race.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Bocasien Desbois

Bocasien Desbois is a 6yo from the Martin Todhunter stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

So we have a Hurdle race which is being run at Kelso and Bocasien Desbois does look one to be in the shake up, however it did not fill one of the first three places when competing in a similar event on the 01/01/2017. Other than that slight imperfection this runners form would be classed as exemplary to take a race like this.

Combination here today is Ross Chapman ridding for Martin Todhunter and recent stats for this partnership shows a distinguished strike rate of 25%.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Lowcarr Motion

Lowcarr Motion is a 7yo from the Micky Hammond stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

With ailing form and a below average Jadwiz rating is there anything on which to recommended a bet is in order for Lowcarr Motion. Maybe today’s weight may help after all it did run a nice race when finishing 1st on the 01/04/2016 but that performance gives the impression of being inferior to what is required.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Just Chilly

Just Chilly is a 8yo from the Rose Dobbin stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

Class of a horse can tell us what level a runner is capable of running to and if we look at the overall form of Just Chilly we can see outings which are generally run of the mill. These include an outing in a class 4 race at Carlisle a while back which would be described as suitable but not top draw.

Looking at the race type and here we see it’s a Hurdle and with only average or suitable recent stats for today’s jockey in this type of event it appears to have moderate claims here.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Chapel Stile

Chapel Stile is a 5yo from the Nicky Richards stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

A class 4 race at Kelso and while this runners form may not be perfect when racing in class 4 events it does warrant a second look.

Recent stats can be an added bonus when available and with this runner there are some notable figures for Scorpion who is the sire, especially when racing over today’s race distance of 20f.

This runner out of the Nicky Richards stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Call The Cops

Call The Cops is a 8yo from the Ben Haslam stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Call The Cops ran at Doncaster, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Maoi Chinn Tire

Maoi Chinn Tire is a 10yo from the Jennie Candlish stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

Headgear is used in an attempt to get the most from a runner and can sometimes have desired affect as was the case when Maoi Chinn Tire ran at Nottingham, finished 1st on that occasion and is not the most recent of form and looks to have far more to do here today.

Overall form for today’s jockey at this time of the year is to be considered below par or ailing due to their low strike rate which is only 6%.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Betancourt

Betancourt is a 7yo from the James Ewart stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 20f race which taking part here at Kelso.

Had a recent race at Sedgefield and managed to get into the first three in a Hurdle event and looks to have fair form which looks typical for this type of contest.

Some types of events a trainer can have good stats to back up a runners form but in this case of James Ewart Hurdle races have not really produced the goods over the last year.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Mash Potato

Mash Potato Gelding who for this race has Steven Fox on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as Soft

We need a runner that is competent in the class of race that it is running and in this case it’s a class 5 which means that Mash Potato falls under the category after putting up a fine performance at Carlisle and while not the latest form does display its talent.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Noel C Kelly with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE FORM

Goadby

Goadby is a 6yo from the John Holt stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Goadby did have a good result when carrying 09-05 and finishing 1st on the 23/07/2014 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

With today’s jockey being Eoin Walsh and the race taking place on a unknown course things are not great considering the last twelve months strike rate of only 10% when racing on these type of tracks.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Wimboldsley

Wimboldsley is a 6yo from the Scott Dixon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Wimboldsley did have a good result when carrying 08-12 and finishing 1st on the 19/09/2015 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

Chelmsford is a course that is unknown and when this runners trainer has recent sent horses to race on these types of course there has been only an acceptable success rate.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Frangarry

Frangarry is from the Alan Bailey and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Chelmsford

It can sometimes pay dividends to look a bit further back through the form book and in this case we can see that in last year it has performed well on a unknown course, this was at Lingfield on the 05/05/2017 when Josephine Gordon rode this Gelding to get the 1st prize and is to be considered agreeable display of ability.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Chelmsford.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Justice Rock

Justice Rock is a 4yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Nicola Currie.

Some splendid form over today’s race distance of 6f and while the race at Yarmouth on the 14/06/2017 may not be right up to the minute but it was a praiseworthy ride by David Egan on that occasion.

So we want some valuable stats to back up our form for this runner and I can tell you that the sires offspring have a fine record when racing over this distance, in fact recent stats show a 15% strike rate.

One for your short list I feel and looks to have the form which would enable it to be in the shake up, there maybe others with higher ratings but this one still looks to have a chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Silver Springs

Silver Springs is a 4yo from the Roger Ingram stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Overall form for Silver Springs is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 08/08/2015 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

The overall form for Silver Springs looks to be unproductive or insufficient for a race like this and there are plenty of other runners to choose from.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Gettin’ Lucky

Gettin’ Lucky is a 4yo from the John Balding stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Does not have the greatest of form and others would be preferred but at least it did handle the unknown course when racing at Southwell on the 21/02/2017, so although its form is substandard at least we know there are no problems with course layout.

General form for this runner is detrimental and it’s the same story when looking at the results for the offspring for the sire, this lets us know that there has only been a 6% strike rate for runners when racing as a 4yo.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Miss Uppity

Miss Uppity is a 4yo from the Ivan Furtado stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

So this race is taking place at Chelmsford which is a unknown course and that’s the one thing that Miss Uppity does have to offer, a bit of form on a unknown course. However, while its recent run at Brighton when finishing 2nd looks good as it is also a unknown course it may pay to pass on this runner.

Overall stats around this time of the year for Ivan Furtado are on the low side with only a substandard 6% strike rate being recorded.

Overall form for this runner looks to be insufficient and substandard for a race like this and the best I feel it could do would be to possible be reach a place but its odds would need to be at least double figures.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Dream Revival

Dream Revival is a 4yo from the Paul Collins stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Chelmsford.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

African Girl

African Girl is a 3yo from the Lydia Pearce stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

What form does African Girl have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 19/07/2017 when it finished 3rd. On that day it was racing over 6f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

Will look at the last years stats for the trainer this time with only average sort of mark for runners competing at this race distance things appear set for run of the mill sort of outing here today.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Jasmincita

Jasmincita is a 3yo from the George Baker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Good form on a unknown course would be an asset here and I know that Jasmincita raced at Haydock a while back which is a unknown course but the form that day was not as expected and it failed to make the first three.

Chelmsford is a course that is unknown and when this runners trainer has recent sent horses to race on these types of course there has been only an acceptable success rate.

This runner could very well have what is known as bog standard form and winners tend to be a shade better thought of than that but its by no means totally out of it but would appear to need a bit of luck to win here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Suraat

Suraat is a 3yo from the Robert Cowell stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Looks to have average overall form or middle of the road if you like and while could be one of runners which may run into a place I would not want to take to short a price on it.

Chelmsford is a course that is unknown and when this runners trainer has recent sent horses to race on these types of course there has been only an acceptable success rate.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Banta Bay

Banta Bay is a 3yo from the John Best stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 6f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

A tolerable yet undistinguished runner who’s form when racing with around this weight may not be perfect and an example would be when it competed at Chelmsford on the 03/11/2016 and finished unplaced when carrying a weight of 08-13, which was not to dissimilar to the one it has today.

So lets have a look at some recent sire stats and in this case it’s for today’s race distance of 6f which show a bog standard 10% strike rate.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Snow Excuse

Snow Excuse is a 3yo from the Bryan Smart stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Finding a weight that a horse is comfortable with is not an easy task and the problem we have with this runner is that while there is some excellent form it did run an average sort of race recently at Thirsk when carrying a similar weight, put that aside and this would looks to be a tiptop selection.

This runner out of the Bryan Smart stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

KEMPTON RACECOURSE FORM

Bubbly Bailey

Bubbly Bailey is a 7yo from the J R Jenkins stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Overall form for Bubbly Bailey is generally unproductive and inferior to others in this race and while it has some reasonable results over this distance namely when finishing 1st on the 02/07/2015 it would be seen as more of a each way or long shot.

Wears a Visor here today and by checking the sires results over the last twelve months we can see some stats which look discouraging.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Joshlee

Joshlee is a 3yo from the Emma Owen stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Looks to have average overall form or middle of the road if you like and while could be one of runners which may run into a place I would not want to take to short a price on it.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Popsilca

Popsilca Filly who for this race has Fran Berry on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as *** Error ***

Some splendid form over today’s race distance of 5f and while the race at Lingfield on the 20/01/2017 may not be right up to the minute but it was a praiseworthy ride by William Carson on that occasion.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Kempton.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Dalalah

Dalalah is a 4yo from the Richard Guest stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

The use of different types of headgear can make a difference to a horses running and this would have been no doubt the case at Doncaster when Dalalah put in a meritorious display when applied with Visor which is the same as we have here again today, so we are off to an excellent start with this runner.

Looking at recent stats gives an up to date picture of what is happening and in the case of the jockeys record we see that currently over today’s race distance of 5f there is an exceptional 27% strike rate.

Looks to be one of the main contenders here in this race with admirable form lines to back up its rating would look to have a top-notch chance of taking this event and would be a worthy selection.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Billy’s Boots

Billy’s Boots is a 3yo from the J R Jenkins stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Billy’s Boots did have a good result when carrying 08-13 and finishing 1st on the 05/06/2016 but that is not the most recent of form but you could say its acceptable.

With the weight set to carry today the sire stats show that over the last twelve months there has been a 12% strike when the sires progeny have raced.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Deer Song is a 4yo from the John Bridger stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case Josephine Gordon recent success rate is only an average looking 8% for a 4yo.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Essaka

Essaka is a 5yo from the Tony Carroll stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Essaka does really look to have some excellent overall form on which to recommend it should be on any short list including when finishing 1st at Nottingham on the 23/09/2014, while this may not be the most recent form it was over today’s distance of 5f.

Looking at recent stats gives an up to date picture of what is happening and in the case of the jockeys record we see that currently over today’s race distance of 5f there is an exceptional 33% strike rate.

This runner out of the Tony Carroll stable has distinguished form which suggests that this would be one of the top contenders here today.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Leonardo is a 5yo from the Mark Pitman stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Zamoyski

Zamoyski is a 7yo from the Steve Gollings stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 20f race which taking part here at Southwell.

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

The sires offspring can run well but sometimes depends on the weight carried and in this case the weight carried is to be classed as positive and over the last twelve months there has been a 17% strike rate.

After mixing in all the form lines for this runner the conclusion would be one who would reward an each way investment provided we can get the required odds.

BATH RACECOURSE FORM

Savannah’s Show

Savannah’s Show is a 2yo from the Richard Guest stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

So you are looking for a runner with excellent recent form, if that’s the case then Savannah’s Show fits the bill with its top-notch display at Musselburgh over 5f when it got the 2nd prize of £3k for the Richard Guest stable.

Would appear to have an outstanding chance is this race and form suggests a bet could very well be in order for this runner who looks first rate.

Bucks Frizz is a 2yo from the David Evans stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

A tolerable yet undistinguished runner who’s form when racing with around this weight may not be perfect and an example would be when it competed at Chepstow on the 28/07/2017 and finished unplaced when carrying a weight of 09-00, which was not to dissimilar to the one it has today.

The recent stats for David Evans tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Terri Rules

Terri Rules is a 2yo from the Julia Feilden stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

We normally find that horses that have managed to finish 2nd as this one did on the 12/07/2017 when wearing the same headgear would have sound claims but that race at Lingfield looked to be more of a run of the mill type of event.

This is a 2yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 2yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 13%.

This runner only looks to have middling form and would not really be seen as one of the leading lights but more middle of the road for this event, however could possible reward an each way type of bet.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Owen The Law

Owen The Law is a 2yo from the David Evans stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

Another runner and with this one we see it does have recent form and although not as good as others may have place claims based on its 1st at Chepstow in a Flat.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Jonnysimpson

Jonnysimpson is a 2yo from the Brendan Powell stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

The one thing that the form book does show for Jonnysimpson is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Just For The Craic

Just For The Craic is a 2yo from the Neil Mulholland stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

This is a class 6 race and it helps to know that a runner has form when running in these type of events and with Just For The Craic it does have some suitable outings over the last twelve months on which to make a decision. One of these races in which it put in a typical but has to be said undistinguished run was at Catterick when finishing 1st but as I said that form would be classed as ordinary.

The recent stats for Neil Mulholland tells us that the results are average or undistinguished if you like when their runners have tried to win Flat events.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Zapateado is a 2yo from the Richard Hughes stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Bath.

Form for the runner is recent and also has the advantage that its run at Bath was the same type of race which give us an exquisite start to our fact finding mission and see no reason why Shane Kelly could keep this one out of a place.

One of the main candidates in this event and appears to have what would be called a first rate chance based on the Jadwiz rating and other factors.

CHELMSFORD RACECOURSE FORM

Sacred Way

Sacred Way is a 3yo from the Kevin Ryan stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Sacred Way has satisfactory recent form but nothing that jumps off the page, however it did finish 2nd recently on a unknown course the same as today’s which makes things more tolerable.

We have looked at form and now move on to the recent stats for runners out of the sire when runner on a unknown course which an average strike rate in the order of 10%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Lead A Dance

Lead A Dance is a 3yo from the John Butler stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Put in a bush-league type of performance when recently racing at Chepstow with the same piece of headgear which Lead A Dance is set to wear again for this event which does not look to good.

Overall form for today’s jockey at this time of the year is to be considered below par or ailing due to their low strike rate which is only 6%.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Timely Arrival

Timely Arrival is a 3yo from the Amanda Perrett stable who has some praiseworthy form on which to recommend for this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Looks talented and appears to be one that could be trusted providing that you over look its recent run at Newmarket which is a unknown course the same as today’s.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Chelmsford.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Hyperloop

Hyperloop is a 3yo from the William Haggas stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

This runner not only has tiptop form but has also proved it can handle a unknown course which it did in a distinguished fashion when racing at Windsor on the 10/07/2017.

Combination here today is Daniel Tudhope ridding for William Haggas and recent stats for this partnership shows a distinguished strike rate of 33%.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Stakes event.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Footman

Footman is a 3yo from the Richard Hughes stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Kempton when it carried 09-04 to finish 2nd. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Ennjaaz

Ennjaaz is a 3yo from the Saeed bin Suroor stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 10f race which taking part here at Chelmsford.

So we have a nice recent run over this distance which took place at Windsor on GOOD TO SOFT (6. when finishing 2nd, looked an unremarkable type of race but could classed as acceptable.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

KEMPTON RACECOURSE FORM

That’s My Girl

That’s My Girl is from the Richard Hannon and would appear to be a talented sort and looks to have an above average chance here at Kempton

Has an above average rating and looks a proficient runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Fitted with headgear which hopfully will give this one a chance after all the trainers recent record when sending out runners with some type of head covering has been beneficial with a superior strike rate of 15%.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Kempton.

Silver Bullet

Silver Bullet is a 2yo from the Tom Dascombe stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

May have what it takes for this class 6 event but may need a bit of luck considering it was unplaced recently in the same type of race.

This runners overall form looks to be below par for a race like this but it could possible be worth an each way provided that it had longish odds.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Average

Mimram

Mimram is a 2yo from the Dean Ivory stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

So Mimram is a 2yo and recently there have been some less than encouraging results where the sires offspring are concerned and with an insufficient strike rate of only 4% others will be preferred.

The expression dime-a-dozen sprung to mind when going through the form for this runner and with a low rating this runner appears inferior.

Letsbe Avenue

Letsbe Avenue is a 2yo from the Richard Hannon stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

Checking the last twelve months of form for this 2yo Colt I noticed that it did run in a race on the 01/07/2017 when it carried a similar weight as today’s, results on that occasion was not great but don’t let that put you off.

Looks a first class choice to take the winners prize back to Richard Hannon having proved itself highly capable of taking in a race like this and would expect an admirable display.

Courteous Crown is a 2yo from the Richard Hannon stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

This is a 2yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 2yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 12%.

With some middle of the road performances and generally indifferent form this ones chances are modest and there are a number of entrants which look better suited.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Roman Spinner

Roman Spinner is a 2yo from the Rae Guest stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

What makes this runners form admissible is the fact it got a good result recently when racing at Kempton when claiming the 1st place prize. Had a similar type of weight that day which it is set to carry in this race which gives Roman Spinner on form a modest chance.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case David Probert recent success rate is only an average looking 10% for a 2yo.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Above Average

Alaskan Star

Alaskan Star is a 2yo from the Amanda Perrett stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

A tolerable yet undistinguished runner who’s form when racing with around this weight may not be perfect and an example would be when it competed at Goodwood on the 26/05/2017 and finished unplaced when carrying a weight of 09-02, which was not to dissimilar to the one it has today.

Twelve month stats for the trainer are adequate for this age of runner and while not outstanding with a 10% strike rate may still be good enough to get Alaskan Star a place.

An average looking runner with adequate but unremarkable form for a race like this and there are others that are preferred and it could be an idea to look at some of the other contenders.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Rustang

Rustang Colt who for this race has Jimmy Fortune on board which looks like helping here on ground which is marked down as *** Error ***

If we concentrate on the recent form for Rustang we can see there was a race at Windsor when it carried 09-01 and finished unplaced and is worth pointing out as its set to carry a similar weight here today.

With some efficient and praiseworthy form to its name this would most likely be included in most short lists and who would I be to argue and I’m sure Richard Hughes with have this one fit and ready to be battle.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Giovanni Medici

Giovanni Medici is a 2yo from the Seamus Durack stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

What form does Giovanni Medici have? Well the best way of looking at this runner is to take into account its last twelve months of form and by doing this we can see there was a race on the 26/07/2017 when it finished 3rd. On that day it was racing over 7f the same as today but it could be said that it was only a moderate type of an event.

This is a 2yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 2yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 8%.

One of the runners who looks to only have moderate or average form but is the type that could run well and therefore may be of interest if the main contenders put in a below par effort.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Above Average

Prezzie

Prezzie is a 2yo from the William Muir stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an average rating and looks a moderate runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Some horses run better when young other when older and finding a jockey who gets on with different age groups can pay dividends, however in the particular case Martin Dwyer recent success rate is only an average looking 8% for a 2yo.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Gold Eagle

Gold Eagle is a 2yo from the Philip McBride stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Had a recent run at Leicester when it carried a similar weight when unplaced in a unremarkable race and that about sums things up for this runner, touchstone.

This is a 2yo and if we move over to the stats area we find that the sires offspring when running as a 2yo have a satisfactory strike rate of 11%.

Does not have the best form in the race and only looks ordinary but there may be a chance of this one getting itself into a place, whether the bookmakers price this one up to allow an each way is a different matter.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Surrey Blaze

Surrey Blaze is a 2yo from the Joseph Tuite stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Today’s weight for this runner is very similar to the one recently carried at Sandown when unplaced and that form appears to be how good this runner is and not ideal selection for this race.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Hastenplace

Hastenplace is a 2yo from the Rod Millman stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 7f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an below average rating and looks a unproductive runner with no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

Sometimes a trainers record can indicate things that are not always evident when looking or reading through the runners form and one of these is that Rod Millman has only successfully make the winners enclosure 6% of the time with a 2yo runner over the year, which is below average.

A runner who for this race appears to have to much detrimental form to its name and I feel it may be wise to pass this one over.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Below Average

Meandmyshadow

Meandmyshadow is a 9yo from the Alan Brown stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Redcar.

Another runner who’s form does not seem to be good enough for this race and the only good news would be its finishing position in a race that took place at Newcastle when it carried 09-07 to finish 1st. This is a similar sort of weight that it is set to carry today so could possible run a nice race.

Time for some stats and in this case the trainers record lets us know this runners chances of success here are below average due to the fact that Alan Brown only has a 6% strike rate in Flat races.

With some discouraging results and below par performances this runner would be seen by most as having a less than average chance of taking the first prize here in this event.

KEMPTON RACECOURSE FORM

Shamrock Emma

Shamrock Emma is a 2yo from the John Best stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

May have what it takes for this class 5 event but may need a bit of luck considering it was unplaced recently in the same type of race.

This runner is a 2yo and there is nothing unusual in that except when Luke Morris has been the jockey, recent stats show a substandard strike rate, so may not be a great choice.

Looks to be slightly deficient this runner with ailing form to its name and would not of thought that this one would be fighting out the finish.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Knockout Blow

Knockout Blow is a 2yo from the Mark Johnston stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

The one thing that the form book does show for Knockout Blow is that with the right headgear, which it has today, it can sometimes run well. With that said I do feel that today will not be one of them as there are far to many other runners with better form lines.

The record of this runners sire is discouraging with only a 5% strike rate at this time of the year and with some below par results like these it would be an idea to concentrate on others in the race.

Could not be classed has having a great chance of taking the winners prize back to the trainers stable and other better candidate can easily be found.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Iconic Knight

Iconic Knight is a 2yo from the Ed Walker stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Class counts the saying goes but in the case of its recent outing at Kempton when racing in the same class of race as today’s the result only looked to be bog standard and on form it looks a place maybe the best result.

A 2yo runner here and with Jamie Spencer due to get the leg up its run would be expected to be moderate and this is based on the modest overall strike rate of 14% when ridding 2yo.

Has some satisfactory but run of the mill type of form and would not be to high on many punters lists but with a bit of luck may find its way into a place.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Above Average

Deviate

Deviate is a 2yo from the Tom Dascombe stable who looks to have an excellent chance on form and ratings.

One of the things about recent form is that it helps that the races are both the same and in the case of Deviate I can tell you that the tiptop display at Wolverhampton in a class 5 which took place on the 31/07/2017 was the same class as today’s, so appears to have a notable chance here.

Looks to be one of the runners here in which an investment could very well pay off with an excellent rating and some notable form to its name for this Stakes event.

Recent Form – Trainer Average – Jockey Average

Pretty Risky

Pretty Risky is a 2yo from the Patrick Chamings stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

First thing I noticed when looking at its recent form was a race at Brighton when it worn the same piece of headgear, on that occasion it did show enough to suggest it can be winning here.

The trainer of this runner does not have any outstanding recent results when their runners have carried a weight near what this one is set to lump around here today and stats appear to be intermediate.

Has admissible but intermediate form and would only be of general interest if the odds are in our favour which would mean an each way bet might be on the cards.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

No More Commisery

No More Commisery is a 2yo from the Mick Quinn stable who has some excellent form on which to recommend a bet for this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has an excellent rating and looks a distinguished runner but no real form which can be used in conjunction with this race and so we will move on to the stats to see what we can discover.

A runner out of the top draw here and one that looks to be in tiptop shape and ready to produce an exemplary display here at Kempton.

Recent Form – Trainer Above Average – Jockey Average

Shadow Seeker

Shadow Seeker is a 2yo from the Paul D’Arcy stable who has some unproductive form and does not look to be up to this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Put in a bush-league type of performance when recently racing at Chelmsford with the same piece of headgear which Shadow Seeker is set to wear again for this event which does not look to good.

We know Shadow Seeker is set to carry 08-11 but over the last twelve months the trainers runners when carrying around this weight have only prevailed 5% of the time which is off putting.

Does not look to be one of the fancied runners on the form which has come to light and for all intense and purpose Shadow Seeker would be classed as having a below average chance.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Poppy Jag

Poppy Jag is a 2yo from the Kevin Frost stable who has some average form which means that it good enough to fill one of the places in this 5f race which taking part here at Kempton.

Has only what would only be classed as passable form for this race and with a below standard outing recently at Wolverhampton which was over 5f this can be marked down as a runner with average chance on form.

We know that Poppy Jag is a 2yo but how well is the trainer currently doing with this age of runner? Average would be the word as the recent strike rate is only in the region of 11%.

Form for this runner looks up to scratch but with better candidates in this race its overall chance could only be classed as admissible.

Recent Form – Trainer Below Average – Jockey Below Average

Havana Heart

Havana Heart is a 2yo who looks to have some fine form for this Handicap race and today is ridden by Ben Curtis.

Finding the right weight range for a horse could be the key in this race and Havana Heart looks to be in the zone having put in a praiseworthy display recently at Lingfield when it carried 08-09 to finish a worthy 2nd.

By no means the top rated here for this race but its not that far off and with the form shown so far could not really be left out of the reckoning here for this race at Leicester.
